I always thought this song was from them just until the ST last season knew it wasn't... but I love more this versión My favorite one is from theor concert in Santiago Chile in 2007... very very similar to this one but hearing the people shout and sing along it's magical
I was lucky enough to see them in Minneapolis a while back. I was surprised by the guitar solos and duets Brian and Stefan were doing during or in between songs. A lot of the videos of them playing live stuff like that was cut out. I'll never forget that night.
Dont know if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my gf for the last few months :)
After watching this for over 300 times, My heart still gets pulled out of my chest & can't breath from 3:24, Brian completely makes the song his own, it's so addictive, his voice just blows your mind!
@@defusedplanet yes! “Under rated” is another favourite. No, not under rated by their fans….just because they’re not top,of the music charts …. How should you measure success?
If I could only watch one TH-cam video for the rest of time, it would be this one. I can only hope to be loved as much as the person Brian saying that for someday. To experience Placebo live is to truly experience them and for that, i will always be lucky. Love you Brian Molko thank you for what you got me through
ahhhhhhhhh, when I Iook at your profile picture, and as well as being a Placebo fan, HEY YOU!!!!!! Amazing. People often question me about my tastes in music, that is the key word here, "MUSIC", the love of music, regardless of the genre. If it is good, has meaning and depth, fills your body, mind and soul......then it has done the job!! Good on you, Cierra Cable!!! From Mindy, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
+Melshelly1 right on. people also question me re my taste MUSIC especially due to my age but I don't care. Placebo attracts all ages.Just keep being who u r & only ever one original of u or any of us. tke care all Gigi Australia
Only seeing this clip in 2022. After watching tons of their live performances over the years I have to agree that it is a great performances. It was unique. Brian Molko and Placebo have stayed fresh and relevant all these years.
I know i have watched this well over 100 times, posted it everywhere, it's @ 3:00 when Brian completely lets go & owns the song, it becomes sooooooo much more than a "cover". his voice is like no other.....
2021 and still one of my favorites. It amazes me how many times this song has been used in soundtracks. Like The Vampire Dairies and Bones. Absolutely amazing band and track. ❤️
Awesome live performance, I think it's one of the best of 'Running Up That Hill'! I love Placebo's music and Brian's voice, personality, appearance so much! They are amazing! And this is an excellent cover! Placebo and Brian rocks and forever!
This is pure passion. I prefer this to the original and I always think originals are always best but this song slowed down with that empowering loud vocals work in so many ways.
One of the best performances ever....Totally made the song theirs @ 3:19 gave the passion & emotion that it needed, i cannot remember how many times i have watched this :/
How have I not heard this song? Sorry it's better then Kate's original - the beat and guitars are awesome. Gives me chills how he sings after the guitar solo.
The only way this could be any better would be if I was there to see it :) I played this about 20 times in past few days ;) I think this should be their official video for this song :)
Even though it is one of the most liked songs B sings for me, once he sung those vocals just haunt my heart and I had to listen to it. What a mind blowing band they are nobody touches them as far as I am concerned.💗💗💖
I'm definitely addicted to this song, I mayn't shirk listening to it for more than a day because it's the one I use whilst running my daily activities. It's the impression of the void I get whenever I indulge listening to the electronic part which looks flawless. What a blockbuster performance! Brian's voice steers this work that well and it also cooperates to carve the darkness into my mind. Whatever they play is something special and irreplaceable, I want to be delighted and charmed by the way they get into rock and even the method of blending rock and electronic deserves too much. These shouts in the end remind me of Muse, you'll admit Matt's Bellamy uses an akin style. Let's give a listen to Muse debut and you'll grasp this likeness, though.
This particular show’s live is actually exceptionally good in terms of every song Placebo performed there back then, I remember it right from 2007 lol. Try searching for Blind from this set, for example. That day they had a ball, for sure.
Damn, the more I listen to this version, the more I like it.Even so,Kate's version will always bee the best one.I saw a video she did for the song on tv once, about revolution, guns, fighting, and death.I still try to find it.It was really something to watch.
Who else loved this long before Stranger Things??...
I always thought this song was from them just until the ST last season knew it wasn't... but I love more this versión

Love Kate Bush but really love this version
I've never seen that show, thank god
HBK/Undertaker
This must be Brian's best performance of Running up that hill
I agree, their best performance of this song
Just brilliant. 😍😍😍
Cool story
Ditto🐨
The acoustics certainly agree with him
Placebo is one of the few bands I can honestly say, are always better live than recorded.
I was lucky enough to see them in Minneapolis a while back. I was surprised by the guitar solos and duets Brian and Stefan were doing during or in between songs. A lot of the videos of them playing live stuff like that was cut out. I'll never forget that night.
@@tubeofyou8 2007 or 2014? I was at both of those front row haha

From 3:00 mins - Brian sings with such passion , absolutely fantastic performance!!! This song is incredible such an under rated band...

Stef cracks me up every time. I still can't believe it's him doing the 'ah ah ahaa'
apart from that, this totally rocks.
he sounds like woman
This is what happens when a few incredible people come together to create something absolutely beautiful.

I´m in heaven, when I hear this version!
3:06 onwards is perfect . this is the one band you will see live and never forget the chills you got from them
why on earth are Placebo not bigger than they are? this is amazing !1111
so much bigger than muse for example...cheers
The don't need mass attention to be quality I wish people would stop saying this I'm glad they aren't huge massive or wtvr that means
It's so good because it's a cover of kate bush
