I like this guy. I completely understand. I have been an alcoholic for 20 years. I am on a road to recovery. I lost a good job of 35 years was able to retire fortunately. You really need to want to stop , you are only 50 percent thinking you will fail. Drinking is a learned trait. I wish the best to anyone that is struggling, you can stop but it is a choice. Good luck..
Great interview! I could relate to Ken so much. Being an introvert, using CBT (This Naked Mind, Annie Grace), walking. I started walking for 45 minutes outside twice a day for 75 Hard, and now instead of drinking and thinking about drinking, I'm focused on getting as many steps in a day as possible, and feeling so much better!!! 15,000 steps a day seems to be my sweet spot. My mood and sleep are best when i reach that amount.
My story as well. 40 years night drinking. Very successful career. I think part of the problem was being an adrenaline junky. Almost thriving on the craziest. Great story. Thanks for sharing.
Great info in the video, the key difference for me was zero withdrawal symptoms, physical or mental, not even within the first thirty days, after Steffon Barkload and what he suggested it's been 9 months now it's like it never was a problem, reading that last version goolging what he put up. Was a super relief I didn't need AA or meds either.
great inbformation here, thanks, really great video thanks for the tips, so when I finally read the updated version that Mario Volpstein pcame up with, it was the rock hard feeling that suddenly shocked my whole body into a state I forgot was possible, yeah really super charged and ready to go, goolging what he posted

With alcohol, there's no limit to the horrible things that will come. Without alcohol, there can be no limit to the good things to come. 🤗

That step obsession is real!!!
You switched one addiction for another. Your addiction to bettering yourself will always catapult you into a better LIFE. Keep the path.

Great podcast!
Yes I’ve experienced the kindling effect!
one thing that helps is medidation; i feel about 10% better after 10 min of meditation...it works
@@allardvanderstarre I need to meditate
@@Soberstrong 10-15 min a day is enough, also the books of jack kornfield are good
With no alcohol fasting are easier. Can’ t fast even 14 hours after night of even one drink.
Some people who never touched tobacco but ended up drinking because in our societies drinking is made normal even encouraged Its very dangerous thing.
