I would. Being able to swing the head away and get the knife located where you want on the job is a way better advantage over many other hand operated presses. It can operate very near as quickly as an average hydraulic clicker press at a way nicer price. It is a real workhorse and very good value for the $$$
The thickness of the leather I cut in this video is 5mm and the PET felt was 12mm. Check my channel to see where I have also been using it for doing leather wet moulding.
