Thank you. I agree. We need to know why. If we still want to do it another way, that's fine, like in the case of scoring against the grain. I'm not going to lose sleep over that issue.
While you didn't give ME any particularly new information, I'm going to refer my card class ladies to your lively informative tutorial! Thank you! I'm definitely thinking about buying the scoreboard you showed us!
I’m one of those people that’s in the other fold camp. I don’t like the way the inside of the card looks when you turn the valley into the mountain. If I have really thick cardstock I score both sides so I get less cracking. I know there are people that think my way is wrong, but I like the way it looks better and it works for me so that’s how I do it. I go by the if you like it you do it your way rule. I’m not going to tell anyone they have to do my way, it’s you do you.
There is a supply list under all my videos. You have to click to expand the information provided there. However, it appears you are in luck! I just got an email from the company that to celebrate National Cardmaking Day, they are having a sale on their Crease this weekend. So even with shipping, it's cheaper to get it directly from the company than from Amazon right now. www.cutterpillar.com/cutterpillar-crease
Only Lolly and her teaching style can make simple scoring fascinating. She gets my vote for BEST TEACHER EVER award!

Can you do this on handmade paper??
Yes. The thicker the paper, the more difficult to score, but it can still be used in a score board.
