Yes, especially now New York is inundated with migrants from all over the world. The big apple is now in big trouble since the migrants started to come in also in San Diego, Seattle and Chicago, but New York has even more.
Time Square has lots of pretty people from all over the world. That place in Taguig city have very few white people. Locals only go there to watch white people and Koreans. No one cares about the trees. You can chop down all the trees and no one will notice, because locals are too busy either vlogging or staring at expats walking with their dogs or Filipina girlfriend from some island.
Pero syempre malaki Ang new York kesa sa bgc yon nga lng Hindi malinis Ang kalsada ng new York at walang ka Puno Puno,, di tulad ng bgc maraming Puno at malinis
BGC is new. Wait 399 years then let's see if BGC is still clean and standing like NYC. Also, you are talking about one small section. NYC has 5 boroughs.
@@myjoyfulangels1172when was NYC clean? Even when it was founded it was littered with animal and human feces with no waste management. Fortunately, 399 years later still standing and everyone wants to come here. BGC is a small section so it can be kept clean easily. NYC has 5 boroughs with different neighborhoods that have a good mix of folks from different backgrounds. Visit the Richter neighborhood in NYC and you'll see how clean and organized it is. BGC is for the rich folks not the average pinoy. Do you really think rich folks want to live in filth? They'll put more money into keeping their area clean. Why do you think BGC is hella expensive?
Architectural and design wise, BGC doesn't even come close to NYC. In NYC, you can see the most classical style such as the Colonial and Neo-colonial styles, Neoclassical, Gothic and Beaux-Arts, to more modern styles like Art Nouveau, Art Deco and the International Style. BGC looks more like downtown Houston, Atlanta or even parts of San Fran but definitely not NYC. Our streets aren't wide like BGC and NYC skyscrapers towers that of BGC. BGC is modern compared to the classic architectural style of NYC. The oldest structure here is the Wyckoff House from 1642! Anyway, BGC is definitely designed using American urban planning principles. It would've been better if the European architectural and urban planning was used so that it's more pedestrian centric rather than car. Just like the US, Manila just ain't pedestrian friendly.
Nope, not really! BGC pales in comparison to NYC. For starters, the buildings are far too shorter in height. NYC's modern skyscrapers are towering in the 80s to 100 plus range. Besides, the NYC vibes is not there. The plethora of cultural attractions are overwhelming with Broadway Shows alone, dominating the city's night scenes along with the slew of bars and exotic restaurants to choose from for the discerning palate. Perhaps, Philly or Philadelphia, the Little New York, might be a closer comparison.

How many developing nations have you been to make such comparisons and how many places in the Philippines have you visited? Also, you obviously failed to see the significance as well as the stark contrast between the slums and posh villages in the Philippines; the distribution of Metro Manila 's national income is imbalance where economic growth is considered as poor because of the low number of middle - income people.
More places are coming out like BGC in the Philippines...
I enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing and keep the videos coming.
Thank you very much for your comment po!
I've been to Times Square and the huge billboards are everywhere.

BGC is just a tiny spot. I have visited that area when the first building was being constructed. it used to be just grasslands and a cemetery.
No..we wanted the provinces untouched. We wanted serenity.
@@terayskie6619 Yes you are right. Province is a province not to compare to the big city which is the capital.
Its way Cleaner safer compare to NY Alleys
Thank you for your comment! BGC is clean and safety po! I think!

Why BGC with only 12k resident even consider a city?
The brothels are mushrooming around the new UXA military bases- that should stimulate the domestic economy

Yea times square is a tourist trap. Native NYorkers avoid that area whenever possible
New Time Square is all stones and cement and no trees or any other vegetations unlike BGC.

BGC looks more of a typical city in Europe where you could see an alley of trees.
