I loved this! I love your work so much. Funny story: my dad had homing pigeons when he was 11 or 12 (he is 78 now) and he used to sell them at the local market. He used to tell people they needed three weeks and then you can let them go to fly back. However, homing pigeons need a lot more time in a new place before they’ll fly back. So the pigeons would fly back to him and then he’d sell them again 😂

I love your bird illustrations. Pigeons have a bad reputation but I think they’re so pretty when you look at them closely. They have gorgeous shades of pinks, purples and even turquoise and greens in their feathers that make them very fun to paint. I really loved all of your bird illustrations. I have a few poscas as well as some other random paint markers from subscription boxes but I hardly ever use them. I think it’s because I don’t have enough colours though so a set like this would be a perfect solution 😂 I’ll definitely be looking forward to seeing you use them more in future videos while I save up to buy a set
Thank you so much, I really love painting birds 😍 I'm working on a series of local birds so it's always good to practise regardless of species! Poscas are great for line work but I do struggle to 'paint' with them so these with the brush tips were perfect for me!!
@@sallytownsendart I think the brush tips are much easier for this more painterly style. I’ve had good results with poscas for a more graphic design but I don’t think I could achieve anything like your birds in this video. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of your birds series

I just want these markers so bad but knowing me, I always ruin the tip of the lighter coloured marker by mixing them up with darker ones. Also I don’t have your trademark steady hand. Watching you create is very therapeutic 😻
Patience is the key! Once they dry (which is pretty fast) they set so you won't ruin the lighter colours because they go on top no worries! I'm glad you liked the video 🥰 So grateful for you ♥️

I would just do one set of stickers. That way if they start to wear down I have backup ones.

they look like a nice colour range, so many more shades than the new sharpie creative acrylic markers. tempted but not sure how easy arrtx are to get in Aus, and would like to see how they last and wear
I was really stoked with the colours, more interesting than just a standard primary/secondary set. As far as I can see, you can only get them in Australia via Amazon... Another reason I was so stoked to receive these because the brand just isn't super accessible for us and I keep hearing about it! I'm definitely going to keep using them regularly so it'll be interesting to see just how long they last and the value for us down under
