    After trying a couple of times the way the video does it, I changed the recipe a bit. First I steamed just the pasta covered in water with some salt, about 10 min. Then I poured out almost all the excess water, added all the other ingredients and steamed for another 30 min approx. This way the dish wasn’t soupy and tasted better, at least that’s what I found.

      Great job! It is difficult to get the right amount of liquid to cook the pasta and not result in too much sauce. Good idea to slightly cook the pasta first.

    Just made this in my dorm. Super easy. Love it. Added some spinach for good measure.

    I cooked this recipe - it was delicious! I used eggplant chunks as I'm allergic to mushrooms.

    Where could I purchase the tonsils to grab the hot pot like you did? Thank you.

      It is available on amazon. I have a link to the hot dish gripper in the description of the video. But I have been using the silicone mini glove instead as the gripper is less stable if the pot is heavier.

    Thank you for sharing this. I have always made my pasta overcooked when done in one of these.
    Do you have any vegetarian recipes?

    Hello how nice that is this product.
    But as an Italian I must say that this is not Bolognese pasta 😜
    Beef and pork is used,Sautéed carrots, onions and celery, blended with red wine. No cherry tomatoes, no mushrooms.
    Parmesan is perfect, Pasta is never cooked in sauce. 🙂 This is not a negative comment. I appreciate the commitment to making pasta. But I just wanted to say that you don't prepare like that. 🙂I hope you can taste the real Bolognese sauce. Have a nice day.

    Cool Itaki dish! But turkey in a Bolognese…?

    • @palomiux92
      @palomiux92 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Turkey is less fatty than pork and beef, when I feel like I been eating a lot of red meat I usually tend to use Turkey or chicken in general but I'm sure you could do it with whatever meat you want 🙂

    • @CoolCucumberCook
      @CoolCucumberCook  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes 😁. Feel free to use any meat that you want.

      So it’s a turkey-tomato pasta, not a bolognese. :)
