So I went and got/bought one I could place on the metal rack to observe/see through the oven glass.the oven eventually needed to be replaced 2 years later. Just letting you know. I remember Wimpy as a little girl. My mum used to sit me in the corner as I used to dip my chips into my orange cordial. Think I was about 3 years old. Then as a teenager I loved the knickerbocker Glory’s.

There is a Wimpy still in Kings Lynn ,UK. I was shocked to see it when I first saw it about 16 years ago . Call about blast from the past . Remember going in them in the 70s a child
Yes I remember them very well as a child in England. 😊 We never thought it was a strange name.
There are actually 64 Wimpys’ still in England ! As a coincidence it was the one in Kings Lynn when I moved near there that I was very surprised to see as all the Wimpys near to where I grew up closed in the 1980’s.
