K3rnalPanic I appreciate the comment! I do plan to redo this cover in the upcoming months because when this was recorded in 2017, I wasn't using Superior Drummer 3 at the time for my samples. Now that I have dialed in the sounds and my mixing skills have gotten better, it "should" sound more epic! Stay tuned! Thanks again!

Nice work I have just started a channel doing covers but don’t seem to be getting that many views or subs do u have any advice how to get more noticed etc?
Hey Ryan, thanks for the comment! It just takes time. I am by no means popular like some of these drummers on TH-cam. My only suggestions: upload on a consistent basis...going months between uploads will make people forget about you. Respond to comments...I'm a firm believer on this and it's easier to do early on as you grow your channel. Put some effort into the sound/video quality...I struggle with the video part with doing cool transitions and stuff. Pick good songs to cover...I find all my Ghost drum covers get the most views. When I look for songs to cover, I search and see what's out there. If the ones are not that great or nobody does them on an e-kit I know it's worth the while.

@@RedGearMusic That’s ok m8 no worries yeah at the moment I am trying different covers and trying to get more people viewing my vids and subbing. Yeah I am trying to upload as much as I can but I only have access to a proper drum kit once a week so making most of it then. Yeah I am choosing songs that I like and feel I can drum to a good standard tbh m8.

I guess these are raw module sounds? I wonder how do you record to get them sound this good? What software are you using? I am struggling to get mine tuned right..
Hey koweratus, thanks for the comment. For this cover, I was using Steven Slate Drums 4 only; so no module drum sounds what so ever. When I purchased my Roland kit in 2016, I found the module sounds were just not very good to what I REALLY wanted albeit they were way better than my Roland TD-7 sounds! So I started looking into using drum VSTs and SSD4 was my first test. Appreciate the comment and be sure to check out the 2022 revisit of this cover (link in the description).
Use a metronome. Your timing is off.
