Great list! I recommend you play Arnak or Dune Imperium for deck builders with worker placement.
Yes I love Arnak!! It's on my top 10 solo list!! I really want to try Dune Imperium but I haven't had the chance yet

I adore your list. Some of these were a miss for me but am over the moon for others. I recently got Ex Libris so am excited to try it out. Some of My favorites from your list, Clank, Cascadia, Sagrada. Being into books and plants, may I recommend: Paperback and Planted Nature vs Nurture (I have fan made solo mode on BGG)

Great list thanks for making it! If you want to see how deck building can be utilised in different ways I recommend Imperium Classics/Legends, Dune Imperium uprising, Lost Ruins of Arnack and Aeon's End (some of the later waves). ✌️

A very solid Top 10! Clank! Absolutely deserves the number one spot!! It is such an amazing game! I have played it a lot with my brother and every game ended with us falling over because we were laughing too hard 😀 But we don't see eachother often enough to play the legacy 😞

Refreshing list to see! Clank is always a nice time, deckbuilders in general are a great time. I know the struggle of wanting to play a legacy game all too well.

@@Crimsonboardgames Ik heb iets van 5 onafgemaakte legacy spellen nog liggen. Half stervende D&D campagnes alles. Mijn kamer is half roze van al mijn Kirby merchandise en kleurrijk van alle andere nerd spullen en boardgames 😂 Maar het is meteen goede vibe check!

Ex Libris is such a delightful game (my own TH-cam channel is mostly about board games and books, so it's right up my alley!), but I don't see it mentioned very often so I'm glad it made your list! The Quest for El Dorado and Clank are 2 of my favourites, but I have the exact same problem with Clank Legacy: I have the game and know it could possibly even become my #1 game of all time, but I don't have a group of like-minded friends to play through it with. I've never played Clank! But ive heard that Catacombs, the latest iteration of the system is the best way to play Clank!

I consider myself a heavy euro gamer and still enjoyed your list a lot! There was even some overlap with my top 20: Obsession, The White Castle, and Everdell. Have you played Parks? If not yet, I would highly recommend it. Fun gameplay with a cool theme, wonderful art, and amazing production quality.

Great picks. I still need to try out White Castle. Someone brought it out to our weekly game night a few weeks back, but they also had Apiary, so we played that instead.

Which version of Clank do you like the best? Are there any specific expansions you like to play with? My Thursday night game is about halfway through Legacy which is a lot of fun. I am also looking forward to the new expansion for Clank Catacombs that just came out.
I've only played the original because for the longest time I thought it didn't have a solo mode but it does and catacombs does as well. So I really want to buy and play Catacombs, it'll happen!!!

Lorcana, omg? Is it really so good? I just don't like the endless hole of a CCG anymore. :( Cascadia is good. Betrayal is really unique and interesting, but sometimes I felt the stories are unbalanced. It was so hard to beat the bad guy. :) Sagrada is also good. I am wondering if the legacy version is also as good as the original one? What about the Roll Player, do you know it? White house just came out in hungarian and now everybody is talking about it here. Hm, maybe I should try it out? Everdell is so charming, but only the base game, I didn't like the expansions. :( But if I wanna be honest, Everdell is 75% about the artwork. :) Oh Clank. It is also a good game. But I think it is so overpriced. :( I am wondering now, what would be my top 10.

nice little list, big up for cascadia which i love to eternity for his simplicity and beautiful componants.
If you like Clank, you should defenatly give the "In space" version a go ! that stand alone version is way better imho.
i defenatly have to try el dorado some time,
And last but not least, if you like deck building games and playing solo / coop, you have to give Aeon's end or (even better for me) Astro Knights ! Which are both amazing !
and even better than Clank : Tyrants of the Underdark is a hidden gem ! The materials aren't the greatest, but gameplay wise it's a lot of fun with a tons of interractions ! One of the best "versus" deckbuilding on the market ! (and even more if you like dungeon's and dragon Drow Lore)

My interest in board games ended at the age of 10. I am open-minded but for the life of me I cannot understand what drives adults to buy and play board games, especially solo. For years there has been only one type of entertainment I can't get enough of: VR gaming. Nothing can compare to being in another reality. I don't know why this channel was in my recommended videos, strange.
For the life of me I don't understand what drives adults to make needless comments. It would be a sad world if everybody had the same hobbies. If it pops up in your recommended videos don't click on it maybe if you aren't interested in the topic 🤷
You know, for board games you need a minimum IQ. But if your IQ stuck at age of 10 then of course you will never understand this. You know, you won't become adult because of your age, but because of your intellect. I wish you good luck to reach this stage of adulthood one day. Try hard, it's worth it, believe me.
Maybe it is YT trying to tell you to broaden your horizons? Sadly your comment highlights the hazards of instant gratification, and mindless, video games. Nothing whatsoever can ever compare to using your own eyes, and using your own mind, in the real world.

You are open minded but yet you are criticizing people for playing board games and specially solo ? You play virtual games by yourself and away from reality! Board games also do the same thing for people, we emerged in a non reality world of gaming!
What’s wrong with playing solo?
You do the same just in a different way. At the end, is all about the fun and what makes you happy.
