The SAN missed it when he said that the President can declare a State of Emergency in Rivers and remove the Governor. The Constitution allows the President to declare state of Emergency but the Constitution does not add that the Governor should be removed.

Many paid to pass law school. All the politicians who could not make first class honours in there various disciplines, switching over to law careers and were called to bar, should be re-examined in order to validate Governor Fubara's claim because we all know that there is obvious truth in his claim. Wike should focus on his assignment as minister of FCT and allow Gov. Fubara to focus on his own assignment. That is a democratic provision. Godfatherism is not democratic. Honestly one major problem in Rivers crisis is the Media.. Fubara's lawmakers were suspended in October last year before Martins Amaewhule faction moved to the APC. They have been suspended since October last year before the demolition of the HOA

Why blaming the governor alone while the same 27 decamped members keep on passing laws to take over powers and functions of the governor. The Appeal Court in Abuja is also using tactics to delay judgement.
The same decamped house threatens to impeach the governor.
Should the governor sit by waiting without running the governance? If the President declares a state of emergency, it means that the same president is still supporting Wike against a sitting governor. I believe declaring a state of energency in rivers state will be to favour Wike, who is Tinubu's associate and those planning to destabilise the state. In all this matter, Wike is the one the president should call to order. He is one who is fighting with a sitting governor to retain executive power to himself despite having left office after 8 years. With Wike still running up and down, abandoning his FCT functions to fight the governor. In a civilised country, the presidency would have cautioned Wike to either choose between running to keep his rivers state structure or stay to serve the country as FCT minister. Thus us politics abd the ruling government government APC is waiting to benefit from the fall out of conflicts between between Wike and people of rivers state who supports their elected governor.

Mr San you're wrong. State of emergency does not depose the office of a Governor. It's a constitutional office valid for four years tenure. You can not cut short the tenure of a Governor. Jonathan impose state of emergency on bornu adamawa and yobe without removing the office of Governor. Go back and do your research, sir

We all know the whole of this brouhaha is about the greed of one man, it has nothing to do with a difficulty of legal interpretations.
This is a collaborative effort by Wike and Tinubu to hijack Rivers in 2027. The goal is to either have
Option 1-a YES-SIR governor on seat till 2027 or
Option 2- make the state ungovernable so that the national assembly will take over the state.
Fubara is a man with his own mind. One who has refused to take Wike's rubbish so Wike has chosen to make the state ungovernable.
Wike's actions in Rivers are unbecoming. The man must be called to order. Rivers is not Lagos state. Wike must be warned to face Abuja and allow Fubara work. We all know what is going on in Rivers. You cant continue to be a national nuisance.
