27 men and women were lead to the slaughter believing they were going to slaughter Fubara politically instead they slaughtered themselves. Law makers are not the owners of Rivers state.

Seun, the position of rhe constitution and as interpreted by the Supreme Court of Nigeria is that they are no more memebers of the Rivers State House of Assembly. PDP had written to INEC and expects INEC to conduct fresh election to replace the existing vacancies. Whereby INEC delays or derelict in its duties, the legitimate Rivers State Assembly members have the right to carry our their legislative businesses. There is no provision in the Constitution that debars the legitimate legilators from doing the jobs for which they were so elected.

Seun Tinubu is a member of APC and was elected the same way Fubara was elected. This is a PDP matter, which the president becomes an interloper.
The case was already in court befire Tinubu's intervention. His personal effort couldn't work out as Wikeand his boys took Fubara's simplicity for granted. Thereby abusing and thwarting the good intentions of the president.

Are lawyers are judge, they go by the letter of the law by judges go by the letters, circumstances, emotions and other legalities concerning it.
We should it for court interpretations nothing is final until the court cases are done.

Concerning this issue of Lagos state government expelling unemployed members of Osun state is a slap on other state's faces. Is that what is seen as democracy in our country Nigeria? Was there no crisis and division in the PDP at the national level before the 27 lawmakers defected?
1. 5 Governor rose up against the presidential candidate of the party and worked against it because of zoning arrangement
2. The national chairman took side in the presidential primaries that led to crisis also in the party.
3. There was the issue of who was the authentic national secretary of PDP become other individuals were challenging the seat in court of months
4. There were so many litigations against several individuals and the party in court.
5. Even in the just concluded NEC meeting the atmosphere was charged with confusion and impending explotion of party faithfuls.

Mr Falana Always emotional with interpretation, he is acting as the Judge, he knew that a Judge has to be the one to declare their seats vacant, this Rivers 27 Lawmakers are not a party to the supreme Court pronouncement on declaring a seat vacant, they have to be a party to such and it will be decided by an appeal court Judjes in a case that the 27 members are a full party to. Mr Falana was only speaking on moral grounds, and in Nigeria...there are no Morals...it has to go through the normal process of trial in a court

The rena8ning 4 PDP house members can't legislate for rivers state. That was why PDP said they have invited INEC to conduct new election to replace the 25 Wike lawmakers that have defected to APC. The court should not delay so that INEC can conduct new election. Until then, the governor can continue governance of the state by executive orders until the house of assembly is property constituted.

It is madness for 2 or 3 people to represent a state of over 5 million people in a house of assembly. What that means is that the governor controls both the executive and legislative arm of government. What type of law is this. It is a useless arrangement.
How is it madness? Pls take your assertions to TVC. The legislator already forfeited their seats when they decamped. Whatever tinubu did was unconstitutional, the legislators and wike were too dumb to ask that the case that was in court be vacated. It is foolishness challenging a case that already has precedence in the supreme court, it is a waste of court time and the legislators will probably be fine. They caused this with their own hands, and that inec has not conducted fresh elections doesn't mean the remaining legislators cannot perform their duty. They can even impeach fubara if they want and 2/3 of the four can get it done. Cos in the eyes of the law they are the only set of law makers that are legally qualified to run the legislature

Currently If you decamp from the party that gave you the mandate, automatically you've lost the seat and your replacements will be decided by the political party in question.
