That top is fantastic!! Thanks for showing us your thought process. This video was so much fun seeing you each day. You do have your work cut out for you with those birthdays, no time for Autumn sewing in your room😂. Xx
Hi Cheryl I'm so glad you like that book! thank you so much for the shoutout, I really appreciate that. Good luck with all your holiday projects. Can't wait to see this top finished 🤗
Your top is so cute; your smile said everything! I love the idea of marking the center point of a V with a pin, but it doesn't matter how careful I am, most of the time that pin seems to slide out of place. I've reverted to using a Frixion or water erasable pen because I don't have to stress at the last minute when I can't find the pin. I enjoyed your book selections and your reviews. Some books are so worth the money and some are decidedly not, so it's nice to hear about your experiences. I haven't been sewing for Barbie, but it looks like a lot of fun. I imagine your granddaughter is going to one happy girl!
@@nadinewoods6971 TY for watching. I always love reading your comments. I know what you mean about the pin moving; it’s done that to me. I crept up on mine slowly this time, checking to see where the machine needle was in relation to pin. I think that worked for me. I love those Frixtion pins; I have a few of them too.
@@bluegrassdreams2seams510 The pin is more precise than I can get with a pen. Maybe I should try the pin again and be more careful or maybe even tape it in place. You sure have a busy few months ahead with Christmas and birthdays. Good luck!
That was the cutest opening I’ve ever seen! Great top!

@@socarole66 TY for watching! It means so much to me when people I watch watch me occasionally. It’s a great community of sharing sewing techniques. 🥰

@@thebigsewalong You are welcome. Thank you for watching.
The top is so cute! I love my top in that pattern. I also love the process you followed
@@theseamstressatthecottage TY. I enjoyed making it. I have to fix the front; too low and I don’t like what I did. So looking at options.
