Funny how you _really_ try to emphasize you're only looking for the best deal as collector while literally having a pile of games in the background you bought with the intention of reselling. I'm pretty sure you didn't pay full market value on those either...
Why does it matter if he resells or not? If he got good deals on games ahead of time and then they go up in price, that's the buyers fault. Game collectors don't want a game til it's expensive
I assume GS want to get purchases delivered ASAP so it doesn't go past the 7-day return period, in case there are problems. If you're getting inventory from 3 states over or further, there could be delays and create bad turnaround time, which can lead to bad a customer experience/more hassle in general with customer service.
I don't live in America but I appreciate the heads up video like this. It's very similar here in the UK where CEX (our GameStop) will sometimes have pretty good prices on retro games compared to eBay but the flipside of that is you don't get as much money for your games from them trading them in compared to what you get selling them on eBay.
Do think they inflate prices on games the week before their sale? I noticed Mario kart Wii was $20 bucks last week at GameStop and then this week it was $30+. A little sus if you ask me. You can also buy these games currently and go back to refund them and get your deal Sunday for those who want a head start on the deals.
You have to keep in mind GameStop is not available everywhere and worldwide so ebay prices are still being sold somewhat high as others dont have an alternative. So count your fortunes you can have a place to get retro games somewhat cheaper as not everyone has that luxery. Also i am 100% certain they removing those games simply cause so they wont be swiped during buy 2 and get 1 free deal and will be available on the market the next day.
They're holding up on games. I tested this theory while checking some PS3 games that were out in a store in my area, and they were not appearing near me
Fall of Cybertron!!!!! Love that game!!!!
goated

I got a ton of ps2 games and chrono trigger at GameStop two weeks ago. Pure insanity. Rare titles all over the store.
