I never understood why exactly people want to waste energy on hating on others especially when that doesn't benefit them in any positive way. It definitely comes from a place of hurt or pain they have experience, just remember hurt people hurt people.

Your doing a great job! Don't let those people bother you! I had someone call my Xbox collection " bread box". This was someone who didn't even have a channel. I have a huge collection and it's not just Xbox. People don't take the time to even look at peoples channel before they make those comments.
I sometimes leave a comment than might be a contrarian viewpoint on the subject, but never spiteful or insulting, just an opposing opinion. Game collecting is neither dumb or smart, but there's little denying that this stuff holds its value remarkably well for slabs of plastic. Yes, we realize we don't have to collect to play these, but it's fun to do. That's what they don't get, or they're jealous that they don't have the money to blow on it. I'd prob be salty too, if I didn't start collecting 15 years ago and had to deal with today's prices.
Absolutely, there's no way I would jump into this hobby now. Most of my pricey jems I got a decade ago before they were expensive. Occasionally I get a deal, but I dont count on it. It can be infuriating to see that someone got Bucky O'Hare for $5, but I don't get mad at the person. But some people don't even care, they just like to stir up shit.
Think of it like this hating is a sign of success. If you got alot of them you must be doing something right because there ain't nothing you doing wrong 😂. You make good content and bring up interesting topics so if anyone if mad at that then they aren't worth dealing with.
