Agreed!! However I have since put the stock electronics back in and went to Vanquish Method 105 wheels with Holy Rings and Proline Hyrax tires. I like the TGH wheels and hope to get another pair in a different color soon.
I’m planning to mount an RC4wd Blazer on a 10.3. Do you think it would be possible to keep the front inner fenders with some trimming? Also are those 4.19” tires on 1.9 wheels? Looks great thanks for sharing!
The RC4WD wheelbase is 11.3; whereas the SCX10 III is 12.3. Make sure you shorten your SCX10 III to 11.3 otherwise fenders will be the least of your problems :). Otherwise, I don't see why you can't get the fenders to work with a considerable amount of trimming. If you do let me know how it goes!! I have some extra 10.3 inner fenders laying around, sounds like a cool experiment to add some more scale. The wheels are 1.9s wrapped in 4.19 tires.
At the time I didn't know another way and would agree. I ended building another 11.2 wheelbase where I ran cantilever so no holes in bed and it looked much cleaner.
I have the early bronco and a trx4 I’ve been wanting to do this not sure what chassis I want to use. How hard do you think it would be to run 4.7s with the straight axle?
Awesome video! I am about to mount that body to my element builders kit! Just completed my tf2 Marlin build! Love the rc4wd hard bodies!
Nice!
That body sits on that set up perfectly 👌👌

I think I need to do something like this haha.
The jeep JL body is nice... but I need a truck haha.
Great work man.
Thank you! And yes you should do a hard body!
That’s nice !!! Question did you have to shorten the link to fit that body or it’s stock ? Does it just drop in ?
Body fits wheel base of truck which is 12.3in. The body is from RC4WD.
@@jaysrcs thank you .
Those tyres look huge on that truck. The Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Mini works way better with that motor. Keeps it quiet also.
Yes at the time I built this it wasn't what I had hoped. I went to a larger motor, HW 2in1.

Should make mounts and sell them. No one seems to make them for the 10iii just 10ii
Great question! I have seen folks use 10.2 mounts from Amazon mounted directly to the chassis. I make my own mounts out of angle aluminum.
The fact you had to drill holes in it for the shocks to pop out it's a deal breaker but looks decent.

@@jaysrcswhat chassis did you use for your 11.2 build?
@NOSfusion axial SCX10.2
Sweet toy man😋
Thanks 👍

A friend of mine has that setup. You’ll have to heat or cut the wells so the tires don’t rub. He also runs Axial straight axles. It performs amazing.
@@jaysrcs heck ya I’ve always wanted a hard body build
nice what are them mounts holding the body ?
Angle Aluminum and M3 screws
@@jaysrcs thanks as i don't have a 3d printer for the mounts
Me either. Hardware store is where I got all the parts.
@@jaysrcs yeah nice man I put the body on order cant wait till it comes
Good stuff! What color did you get?
Nice ....what is the weight?
Hey man thanks! 7.8lbs
@@jaysrcs thx...nice built...
I subbed 👍
Thank you!
