I connected and fenced off the area. Now I have deliberately walked over the area with the collar in my hand and the app open and nothing happens! No sound, vibration or electric shock. What can I do?
Make sure that you have set the Alarm Level. We suggest Alarm Level=3. Make sure your fence Switch is switch is Set to "ON". After collar goes outside it needs to get the satellite signals so give it a few minutes to acquire so you want to see Green Blinking light Best is to give our technical support team a call on 888 686 6495 and we can check it with you together over the phone and resolve your issue. Leave a message if not available and someone will get back to you
The Collar strap belt has a max width of 18mm with a max Thickness of 2.5mm. You Can get any standard belt strap of your choice with those measurements to fit onto the actual GPS Collar.
Collar Needs to be outside with a clear view to sky to position itself correctly. When the Collar is connected to satellites the Front LED will Blink Green and if the collar does not have satellite signals for example the collar is inside a house etc... the red light will blink. If a collar is inside a house with red light blinking, it’s perfectly safe for your dog to wear as with a Red-Light collar won’t do anything. If a collar comes from inside to outside always give it a few minutes once outside to acquire the satellite signals. It’s a good procedure that before your dog starts using the collar always take it outside and let it acquire the satellite signals first before putting on your dog This is not an online tracking collar which means once you have uploaded the fence to your collar via the APP when your collar is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth (i.e. when you are with your collar and smartphone together), the collar will remember the fence and works independent of the APP, so when you are not with your dog, the collar works automatically for fence contains. if your collar is within Bluetooth Range of your smartphone and connected to your smartphone and your collar is outside and connected to satellites (Green Blink light), you will be able to see position of your collar on your APP. This is just a useful tool to check your fence boundary and accuracy of the GPS Positing, but as explained its not an online tracking collar so when you are not with your dog the collar works as an auto GPS fence all on its own. On The APP, you can set up 4 Sided boundaries with maximum of 4 posts or you can setup circular boundaries. Circular Boundary has a max radius of 1000 Meters or 0.62 Miles and 4 Sided Boundaries can be much larger if required, so as you can see its suitable for smaller yards or larger farms or really big properties When the collar goes outside for example dog leaves the house or in an area where the GPS Satellite signals are strong it needs a few minutes to get the signals so it can position itself correctly. During that phase signals can come and go, but after about 1-2 minutes it will not lose any signals if its in an area where signals have certain strength etc… Also please note if dog goes into any areas where there are none or weaker satellite signals for example inside a structure like a house etc…, the collar won’t do anything and the collar is an “intelligent” device as we have specific Software algorithm and AI logic-built into the collar, that it wont position itself until it receives a certain strength of satellite signals for a certain period of time so the collar knows for sure where it is for most accurate positioning. Please note this is not an online tracking collar as the collar does not use any simm Cards or have any ongoing subscription charges so you cannot track the collar when you are not with your dog……., but when you are with the collar and are your smartphone is in Bluetooth range with the collar, you can connect to the collar via Bluetooth and you will be able to see the position of your collar on the Map on condition the collar is outside and in an area that it can get good satellite signals from the satellites in the sky above. This is very Helpful especially once you have setup your boundary during initial setup which allows you to then walk around with the collar and your smartphone to check it and the accuracy of the positioning etc… so you know how it will work before putting it on your dog. Once you have setup the fence on your APP, you select finish and that will download the fence to the collar and the collar has its own memory and does not need that APP to work. The Collar works independent of the APP on its own and you do not need to be connected to the Collar via Bluetooth and this is not a real time tracking collar so when you are not with your dog you wont see where your dog is but the collar will keep your dog contained on its own once the dog is trained. What is the actual measurements of the collar, I would like to find a quick release version to use with it?
