Mark Tremonti is the Real Deal!! He is so nice and down to earth. I have the PRS MT15 and I LOVE IT!! I cant even run it past 3 in Metal clubs where we play it is so loud. Thanks Mark for developing gear that is affordable and sounds absolutely fantastic!!
@@Kabz8 seriously though the cleans blew me away. sometimes if im not playing metal ill plug the strat into it with a tube screamer flip that switch push the clean channel it sounds some what like a fender twin somewhat. ive got a lot of headroom to work with though as mine runs through a 4x12 which btw a 4x12 on the distorted channel sounds massive. killer amp its my favorite sold one of my other amps cause it didnt get used anymore now im down to the mt15 and a bugera t5
Best damn commercial I've ever seen. Mark is my favourite guitarist in the world right now. A nice guy who won, and continues to win, yet so humble. He's an inspiration.
I was at the O2 when he gave away one of his guitars. It’s great to see a crowd cheer for a stranger having something mind-blowing happen to them. Mark’s a great guy.
What a class act. I don't know much about Tremonti or his music but when a musician stands behind a product because of it's quality and not just because it has his name on it and even talks about the more affordable versions... he just seems sincere. Kudos to PRS for designing a guitar for this artist and for making more affordable versions that are still high quality. I don't own a PRS guitar but I've played a few and I believe it's my next guitar if/when I can afford a US made model.
His feel. The bluesy rock side mixed with metal infused riffs. The drone notes of an alternate tuned guitar. He's inspired me to push myself as a guitarist. Awe-inspiring. Hands down, my favorite guitarist.
My Rig is a PRS Clint Lowery SE, Mark Tremonti Wah, Horizon Precision Overdrive, Phase 90, PRS MT15 amp with Mesa 6L6 tubes, Orange vertical 2x12 can with Neo CreamBacks, and a Horizontal Mesa 2x12 with Vintage 30’s. Best sounding setup I’ve ever had!
Guitarist I play with his rig is a PRS 245, Jerry Cantrell wah, Horizon Precision Overdrive, MXR Micro Flange, PRS MT15 revoiced with EL34 tubes, Marshall vertical 2x12 with Celestion 70/80’s, and a EVH Horizontal 2x12 with G12H speakers.
What an amazing dude. My hero. Inspired me in so many ways. The greatest modern rock guitar player in my opinion, and one of the greatest songwriters of all time.
I was lucky enough to receive a guitar that was played on stage by Mark last September in NYC Playstation Theater. PRS SE custom is amazing to play and the green burst on it is gorgeous!!!
I finally got a PRS S2 Single cut and everything about my playing changed. Tremonti changed my life in the late 90s and early 2000's and I'll forever be grateful. Music dose heal the soul... everything from a brutal low E to a screaming high E!!!! Forever a Fan of PRS and Tremonti 🤘😎🤘

As big as he is, he might still be very underrated. I don’t know we’ve ever seen or heard as much of him as he can do. I think we’ve heard what’s been required of the songs he’s writing. This man and all of his band peers are a godsend to us musicians. Such an inspiring video and it makes me want to pick up my guitar instantly. What an honor it must be to be represented by PRS. Definitely the most important guitarist in my life.
So mine didn't come from a live show, but the first guitar I owned was a Tremonti SE that I won from the band, via AlterBridge.com, back in 2004 when they were first starting up. I had no idea how to play, but I tinkered with it and played around, and got together with some friends and started a shitty little garage rock/metal band, and it got my feet wet. That band didn't last, but I did, and I'm still here 15 years later making music. I've gone down a more acoustic path, but I still have that SE in its case and I still cherish my memories of getting up on stage with it with that first band, and learning what it felt like to be on stage making music and be on the other side of that exchange that I'd spent so many years watching from the floor. My eternal thanks and gratitude go out to Mark and the rest of Alter Bridge for giving that guitar away - never would have gotten started if I hadn't won that SE back in the day!
Mark, what a GREAT way to motivate people, even KIDS to play guitar by giving them away! I am a PRS lover and I can relate! ENJOY and....Keep on rockin‘🎸🎸🎸👍🏻😎
The MT15 is amazing for the money! It's the little sidekick to my Mesa Boogie JP-2C and it punches WAY above it's weight. The perfect amp to bring to jams and practices :) In fact I sold my old Boogie Mark V:25 since the MT15 is just as portable and does a fantastic job for a fraction of the price. Kudos to PRS for making such phenomenal gear, I've been playing PRS guitars since 2005 and I'll never be without one :)
Mark is a hero and his contribution to the modern rock/metal world can’t be overstated. It would be good to see him play an SE model as part of his regular touring rig
Met Mark Tremonti in Chicago after the show! Most humble guitarist ever and wonderful human being, gave me his signed guitar pick, these guys sound clean yet punchy on stage and musicianship at highest level. They are the next Metallica in terms of the musical impact.
I Love my MT15 and is absolutely amazing through my homemade 2x12 with english V30’s. Cannot Wait for the MT100!! May have to sell my MESA to get....OH Well!!! Got to meet Mark is San Antonio about a year ago and what a genuinely nice dude and he is the one that finally inspired me at the age of 52 (now 58) to learn to play. Loving it.
I remember listening to Blackbird for the first time. The solo cut me in half. I lost a good friend when we were 22. That song reminds me of him. The solo expresses how I feel when I think about it (if that makes any sense). The Tremonti sound resonates with me. I've seen AB and Tremonti five times collectively. That Tremonti sound made every show IMO.
I've got a PRS Custom 22 SE and it is phenomenal. Similar price point as my MIM Fender Strat...but twice as good, in terms of quality..across the board! I've also got Gibson Les Paul Tribute which has a satin (re: almost non existent!) finish. While I strongly prefer the double cut body shape of PRS ;and just in general as well),I prefer the tones of the single cut Les Paul. All this is getting to... I couldn't bring myself to buy a Tremonti sig, but if he picked me out and gave it to me...I have a feeling it would become my number one! Just...the PRS playability + phenomenal finishes...combined with the single cut LP kind of ballpark tones. Together, I'll bet it would be dynamite!
I've been playing guitar for about 40 years but didn't try a PRS until about 2009. By far my favorite guitars. I own a couple custom 24s, an Artist Package custom 24 and a 7 string. They are addicting to play and to me the perfect instrument.
I love that first minute of him explaining his experience with buying his first PRS. That's very similar to me. I actually put mine on layaway and paid it off over a couple months. And I couldn't be happier that I did. Best guitar I've ever played. I am 100% a PRS guy now.
Amazing musician and such a humble dude. Giving away his guitar like that is awesome, he has probably made more future musicians by doing that than he realizes.
World Class band !! Great music and big hearts for bringing someone a once in a life time memory !! I miss those moments that Mark talked about playing soccer and being on stage !! I wish I could have had my son see me play !! Now I due to medical issues I am having trouble playing guitar. Life is short, live, love each day to the fullest !!
I've got one of the Tremonti SE guitars and it's amazing! Like Mark's initial problem with PRS, I don't perform with it, but I love playing it in my bedroom. I use the MT15 amplifier in my band and it sounds amazing! We're not metal, but with the gain dialed back a bit, the amp fits the sound perfectly. PRS is really cranking out some great gear!
One more reason I love prs I have the SE custom 24 huge respect for mark giving them away at the shows I can’t believe it what a great person God bless you mark
I love mine. Wonderful guitar, Company and Amazing guitar player. Love that you give them away!! Great stuff Mark and PRS!! Just picked up a new 35th Anniversary Core 10 Top. Another incredible guitar from PRS!

I recently bought a used SE Tremonti Standard on a whim because it was offered dirt cheap. It had Gibson Iommi pickups and a PRS adjustable wraparound bridge installed and with these mods it blows any other LP type guitar in a wide price range around it out of the water. It's not even a competition. I'm not a fan of his music (never really gave it much of a shot though) but the gear he put's out with PRS is outstanding for the price range.
i was lucky enough to meet and hang out with mark that awful night their gear trailer was stolen. I think it was the WBCN xmas rave at axis. I heard about it on the radio the next day and was so bummed as we talked about the cool gibsons he had with him at the time. I was working at guitar just after that and I remember he bought that first PRS from buddy in plano tx. such a nice guy and its been cool to follow his career since then.
Tremonti was always such an awesome musician. Creed halftime show in Cowboys stadium is alltime fave halftime shows, simple, played with Diamond precision. 🍀😎🎸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🏁🏁🏁
PRS genuinely has great products. I run an SE Mark Holcomb into an MT15 and it’s great. Not only do I use that rig for metal but that rig is what I use in music college. I’m in jazz band and that rig works so well in that setting. Just goes to show how versatile PRS is.
When I was in the ninth grade I had been wanting a guitar all my life a good guitar. My family was poor I was in the ninth grade and back then it was a fender Stratocaster or a Gibson Les Paul custom. Time went on I ended up getting Knock offs. I am 62 and still can’t afford a good PRS . So I do understand what you are saying. I know you probably won’t see this response ,butI feel you my brother in music . I never have a PRS like I play in the store’s Ill be dead because my kidneys are shot right now I’m on dialysis which means I only get disability money once a month. I’m not looking for anything just want to tell you I do understand when you say that you couldn’t afford those guitars right now that’s my life but thank you for expressing it. Sincerely,, Gerald.
I truly respect this man he has such a big heart and you know he’s passionate abt everything he does and cares about the world yk. He doesn’t see himself as the best even though he is 😂
PRS are the best hand made guitars in my opinion. their violin double cut aways, headstocks, neck inlays are a work of art! they feel and play the best out of everything else ive held n ive held n played them all, theres no comparison.. they are exstreamly consistent and their quality control department are obviously doing their jobs bc ive never picked up 1 that was off.. not 1. the other expensive leading brands are all over the place, every single 1 feel and play different even when their the same model n thats just pathetic and unexcusable when yr charging the money they are. as of most of society, i dont have 4 or 5 grand to lay down for a guitar but if i did it would definitely be layed down on a P.R.S. guitar! absolutely 100% their not just a guitar, their also works of beauty!
Man....on the PRS line i always look for the Single Cut. Always love the Tremonti Series....and the MT15? Love the sound of it from what i've seen people demo or playin it. Too bad, PRS is not affordable for me. But thnx to Mark for givin guitars to his audience, what a lucky person who gets it. I will just keep dreamin of havin a set of MT15 and Tremonti SC...."My Sacrifice" 🤘🤘🤘
Seeing those kids get their minds blown when Mark hands the guitar sure brought a tear to my eye. Mark is such a wonderful human.

as a dad and a guitar player i 100% got choked up
He's incredible in person. I've had the chance to meet him several times and he's nothing but gracious and an awesome guy.
Did me too. Im not a fan of his music but I think I am of him. My girlfriend loves him. Lol
I want that feeling!!!!! But they only make righty's!!!!! Affordable, if I get a Tremonti model, $5500.00 or more....
The bird inlays of Mark's should be black. And call it Black Bird series.
That's actually pretty genius. I would say it should be a limited run though.
Jesse Claborn but not roasted
Hmmm...
Loooove the black birds on a maple neck.
Hey I will SHELL OUT!!!! WHAT About abolinee birds!!! They will be amazing as well!!!!

What a great human being !!
