I'm not 100% sure where the discrepancy is, but I can tell you pitch wise it definitely wasn't low. Pretty close to what I typically do on all snares which is >400hz. Again, not sure if this has something to do with the DT snare specifically or where I measured the tension, or something else.
@ Seemed to not be tight enough for snares. Could hear some excess rattling. 85 just seemed low to me if you’re “low” tuning was 87. Perhaps the lugs closest to the snares were detuned?
Not sure why your bottom head is tuned so low?

@@ArthurDent33 Snare tension is intentional. Not possible to have any of the lugs detuned with the DT system.
