The WAIT by Megan Good and Franklin was life changing and really helped me to remain celibate, Holy and pure before the Lord.
wait! i just realized she "waited" in think like a man (obviously not until marriage) and then she waited in her marriage in real life. i wonder if that was on purpose haha.
Best Christian book I ever read is “100 Ways God Speaks to You.” Also, Anything by Derek Prince, “Church Shift” by Sunday Adelaja, and “15 Secrets of Prayer Warriors” by Robert Avila. Read those, and by the time you’re done, you’ll have a revived, invigorated, exciting relationship with God and the way you view life.

The Bible reads us There are stories in the Bible to fit every situation in our life.

Sacred marriage changed my life and marriage. This year is our 9th year married and I wish I had that book in the beginning of my marriage.
Dr. Myles Munroe was truly one of the most prolific and greatest teachers of our time! His sermons/books have truly impacted my walk with Christ and my life as a Kingdom citizen here on earth! God Bless!
“Becoming Myself” by Stasi Eldridge is one I would highly recommend.
This is so good! Gary Thomas also has a book called "The Sacred Search" (its like a prequel to the sacred marriage) and it has CHANGED my outlook and perception of marriage and dating/"finding the one". Highly recommend for anyone that's currently single and looking to marry.
Also recommend "Emotionally Healthy Spirituality" by Pete Scazerro. Great book on the importance of being emotionally healthy in your Christian walk, and how it immensely impacts and benefits your spiritual life as well.

“The Bait of Satan” SOOOO good and eye opening. I’m also enjoying The Bible Study. I’ve never read the entire Bible before from Genesis to Revelations and these books help. The Bible is so good!

Will be checking some of these out after I read The Circle Maker Praying Circles around Your Biggest Dreams and Greatest fears. So excited to get deep into this book. My sister recommended it to me. Read the first two chapters and was inspired. I realized today that my dreams and goals do scare me to the point where I shut them down and keep on with life. That's changing for me though.
Thank so much for these books recommendation. As a believer (baby Christian), growing deep in the Scriptures, I recommend the Amplified Version Bible. A very big thank you for your weekly videos 🙏🏻

A really good book that I’ve read is called “The Butterfly and the Violin” it’s a story about a woman looking for a specific painting, it’s original. And the story that’s behind that painting is based off of when the Holocaust started. Such a godly and faith based book. It’s REALLY good!

I really enjoyed captivating too! It helped me value feminity and a woman's heart far more than I had before.
And another one I adored is called Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It does an amazing job showing how much God loves us and can heal even our deepest wounds

Pilgrim's progress by John Bunyan is one of my favourites 🥰
Kekeya, Pilgrims Progress was such a hard read, but so me in so many ways. Didnt get to finish it. I'm reading Inside Out by Larry Crab, another hard read, but so true to life!

The books that I found the most helpful are by Henry Cloud and John Townsend : "Boundaries", "Safe People", "The Power of the Other", "Necessary Endings", "Changes That Heal", "Boundaries in dating.
Yaaassss to diving more into the Bible!
I also liked captivating. There was one point in the book I didn’t agree with, which was when she basically illustrates using sex or withholding sex. Otherwise it really opened my eyes to the same things you described. I’m definitely going to read the African American historical fiction book. I love historical fiction. I typically go for WWII historical fiction but I’m very interested in the book you mentioned! Love this video
Awesome list! Gary Thomas is the truth. I recommend classics such as anything by A.W. Tower and C.S. Lewis. I love My Utmost for His Highest (Oswald Chambers) and A shepherd's guide to Psalm 23 (Phillip Keller) really added depth to my understanding of God's care for us. Disciplines of a Godly Woman (Barbara Hughes) is a multifaceted treasure 📕
Also Wise Her Still by Tiffany Kameni Buckner that book changed my whole mindset about relationships,The Power Of God is all in those pages whewww

I was actually looking for books I could read really helpful sis. A book I really recommend is "Gay Girl Good God" by Jackie Hill Perry. This book transformed my view of sin and enlightened me on how to handle situations and people still in sin. I also recommend "Get out of your head" by Jennie Allen. This book is like a whole therapy session 😅.

Definitely read ‘The Untouched Part’.
On the Other Side of the Garden of Eden by Virginia Ruth Fugate is literally the most eye-opening book I have read thus far. This woman truly breaks down the naturally manifesting effects of “the fall” and why it is extremely vital to our existence to live a lifestyle of biblical womanhood. I highly recommend for ALL women, single or married. Her husband also wrote what I guess you can call a “manhood” version (haven’t read myself), which I’m sure would be life-changing for couples to read side-by-side.
I read the sacred search also by Gary Thompson at the start of this year and really changed my life and additive towards dating.

Jennie Allen is on my purchase list. I read the sample of Amazon and I really loved it. I tried to do the Get Out of Your Head plan on the bible app and I couldn't get into until I read the sample on Amazon.
Ferocious Warrior by Cora Jakes Coleman and What Happens When Women Walk in Faith by Lysa Terkeurst are the best faith-based books I’ve read
Just added this to my book list!! My goal is to read 100 books (50 fiction & 50 none fiction). Last year I read 71 books without even trying. I loved the Christian book "Single, Dating, Engaged, Married: Navigating Life and Love in the Modern Age" by: Ben Stuart.

Do It Afraid by Joyce Meyer. She talks about many different situations we go through and how to seek God through fear and worry.
Beautiful recommendations! Thank you for sharing. I recently read "Woman Evolve" by Sarah Jakes Roberts and it was truly impactful. She uses the biblical example of Eve to reveal parts of ourselves, and how we should flip the narrative from blame to understanding because we've all been Eve, yet can still evolve.🙏🏾😇💜❤

I really liked The Power of Right Believing by Joseph Prince! It's all about understanding how to truly live in forgiveness and not back slide into guilt and sin. Totally changed my walk with God! Thank you for all the recommendations Melody & other sisters :) Definitely made a list!
I read 'How you can be led by the spirit of God' By Kenneth E. Hagin. And I loved it! I want to read it again and really study it 😊. I’m a new subscriber btw.

The Purpose and Power of Prayer totally revolutionised my prayer life. I remember when I read a few pages I had to stop and silently worship God for an hour it was so powerful.
Woman Evolve by Sarah Jakes Roberts😭 this book has literally changed my relationship with myself and seeing God's hand in the details of moving forward. Highly recommend it

Sacred Marriage is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I re read it every couple of years. Should be on everyones list, even if you’re in a season of singleness. Thank you so much for this video!! Can’t wait to read some of these!!
I would HIGHLY recommend "When God Writes Your Love Story" by Eric and Leslie Ludy. Especially before you get into a relationship and if you are struggling with singleness
