Hi Friends!! Today's video is a start of a new series on my channel were we take a word that we may commonly use in our day-to-day life like love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, etc. & make sure our personal definition of this word aligns with THE Word! Hey Nina. If you believe in Christ, you are a new creation. Just look to him daily and allow him to change your life. Not in your strength but His. He does the work when we offer our lives and bodies as a living sacrifices as an instrument for righteousness. Read the scriptures about the rest of the Lord.. he has done everything and offers us rest in his secret place. Hebrews 4. Also about Romans is a good book to start with, to learn about how to live this new life by ever y word from God and not our own understanding. In the Spirit you are seated in heavenly places with in Christ. And Christ is in you.. no longer I whonlives but Christ who lives in me. Your old self has been crucified with Christ, nailed to the cross once and for all. But your mind still needs to be renewed by allowing the lord to teach you and change you.

Such a wonderful Bible lesson. Thank you, Melody. I definitely took notes. The most poignant takeaway from this video is when you stated: I don’t get to define love. Jesus has already defined love. I just have to come to know His definition of it. A word!! 🙌🏾

The cross seals God's love towards us for me. He meets us at our needs by coming down to our level and indeed his the purest form of love.
I feel like Long-Suffering would be a good one, since a lot of people would define that as just being tolerant, even if it's detrimental to the situation, or themselves.

It is needful to check out the original KJV on 1 Corinthians 13, were scripture hasn't been changed or added to like in all theses new translations, be careful. Although these are good examples of what love would do, what your bible says doesn't quite match the original text which is vital for us to have, know, and apply. GOD bless:)
