    The mods have made the game look like a newer assassin's creed RPG game and it's awesome! With a hint of the Witcher 3! Epic stuff!

      I would honestly love working on a game, I have used unreal engine 5 quite alot in the past.
      If I had the time I think I'd try build a game similar to my modded skyrim.

    this looks like a grounded, lore-friendly setup and i'm all for it. are you planning to release a wabbajack?

    • @FROSTGamingVerse
      @FROSTGamingVerse  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do hope to release a wabbajack list eventually.
      I just have to rerun dyndolod for distant terrain and then perhaps I can look at it

    Wish they could built an entire lod engine that runs at runtime. Opens up new possibilities. Changing seasons, base object swapper for trees. Without hassle

      I agree,
      Running Dyndolod is alot of work, would be great if there was some sort of realtime lod gen

    What's your fps in game? Obviously there's spikes on an old game like this but do you generally get above 60? Would be nice to match this somewhat close to my monitors higher refresh rate, but a consistent 60s definitely dope for skyrim.

    • @FROSTGamingVerse
      @FROSTGamingVerse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll be honest I only target 60fps on my Skyrim even though my monitor is 165 hz.
      This game generally works best around 60fps due to the physics and havoc engine.
      Most times I can hold 60 no problem however I due get dips when looking in certain directions due to heavy draw calls on an old engine that doesnt utilize my cpu properly.

    How many FPS do you get in your setup?

    • @FROSTGamingVerse
      @FROSTGamingVerse  ปีที่แล้ว

      60fps in most places except open world cities like Falkreath or Riverwood - those areas tend to drop in certain directions due to CPU bottleneck and Draw calls

    • @FROSTGamingVerse
      @FROSTGamingVerse  ปีที่แล้ว

      Some areas like indoors hit around 80-100 fps

    • @natneo2722
      @natneo2722 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Is there a way to improve performance on those locations without upgrading your CPU?
      @@FROSTGamingVerse

    • @FROSTGamingVerse
      @FROSTGamingVerse  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well the best way to improve fps is to reduce draw calls, which means having less objects in the area.
      The other option is to try following the guide I made here: th-cam.com/play/PLR7abDXfI9wXyYKbm8RbfWTZQLUZB-DsI.html&si=LexebfAMsQ5Q2GQY
      You can skip to the 2nd video for the performance guide

    texture popin is fucking awful too damn i cant wait for elder scrolls 6

    • @FROSTGamingVerse
      @FROSTGamingVerse  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree the LOD pop in can be horrible but theres actually a great tool to fix this. I usually use dyndolod however it takes a long time to make the file so in this video I have a bad pop in.
      Should be fixed in a future video! :)
