Let me explain it a bit more and the players you should be looking out for.

Just started vid,but have been put off the first 11 to such an extent, that the youngsters have had a lot of my attention. I'll let you know, if you're missing any because there are many...(after: it wasn't the type of detail I expected. The list didn't even touch the present crop that are/should be next in line! The future has promise, and INEOS's desire to not waste money may result in an even greater abundance of academy talent breaking through! )

@darebamidele1058 Have you guys not realised anything at all? The team in the future may be built on the Under 20 FA Cup winning side. Their goalie was Radek Vitek. So there's no sense in keeping another good young goalkeeper when you wish to develop Radek instead.
There's an underlying strategy. You need to take a critical look before you understand it.

Protect these lads at all costs I beg the club. We had seen and dreaded the wasting of great talents in the past decade on the likes of Pogba, Lingard, Morrison, Welback, Andres Pereirra, Chong, Fosu-Mensa, Tuanzebe, Greenwood and even Rashford now. Give these lads guidance. Teach the disciplines and work ethics. Let them know that talents would only take them so far and it's hard work that will bring them to the next level. One thing i have noticed not just once or twice. When our youngsters like Mainoo against Bayern in the last 10mins or Kambwala debut against West Ham, were confident & tried to carry the ball or dribble past 1 or 2 players, their teammates - the seniors around them were not ready for it. There were no movement, no connection, no helping, no teamwork, no understanding. Therefore, backpass - the safest choice. That will become a habit.
And the thing is if we don't sell these seniors quickly, our youngsters will get sucked into this mindset, this mentality. For example, Garnarcho at this age needs a mentor who is experienced & definitely not Rashford..someone like Perisic or Willian from maybe 2 years ago

Tbh academy recruitment has often been good at manutd, even post Fergie. And I think it's because recruitment there isn't centered around any one manager and his biases, rather we just look to recruit really talented players. First 11 recruitment on the one hand suffers a lot because of different managerial biases.
We've basically recruited ETHs former players since he came here instead of being objective. We need to adopt whatever academy recruitment strategy they're using.

Our youth system is a massive part of our club & potentially could save us millions in the market provided they're developed in the right way & keep their feet grounded. The likes of Gore, Kambwala, Fish, Lacey, Fitzgerald, Jack & Tyler Fletcher, Wheatley among others it's so exciting. If your good enough yoir old enough. Of course these youngsters need to earn the right to play on the first team but with so many of them already training with the first team squad it'll hopefully inspire them to knuckle down & keep working hard. Under The likes of INEOS building a team for now & the future has to be our way forward. No more pissing money up the wall on these big name players. We gotta build around the likes of Hojlund, Mainoo & Garnacho

Yep, Ineos won't splash and waste cash, sure we'll see signings, but not ludicrous fee's and wages, I'm actually excited about the future under them with a proper structure in place

@@richyclubsport5155 Precisely that man. They will invest money but it'll be done in a far more structural efficient way. With a proper footballing structure in place our club will surely be in safe hands for years to come where we actually become a proper football club again

It’s an interesting point on the academy Sam. As if you’re a young talented player, there’s only really one team that consistently develops it’s academy players into first team players and that’s Utd. City might that the better academy and pull, but surely young players must realise that you won’t make it there.

ten hag being good with the academy player isn't suprising. He's been at ajax, which has arguably the best academies in the world.
Also, should have included Kai Rooney in the list. He's only 14, but has been a complete sensation

For me Mainoo is the real deal. He has everything you’d want in a midfielder in his position. He’s never had a bad game, his baseline of performance is a 7/10 and that’s because his ability and IQ is very high. That’s the level of player we should be accepting to come through the ranks and not handing out debuts for the fun of it. When Ten Hag leaves we can at least be happy he let Mainoo come through.
The jury is still out on Garnacho to be a starter for a Man Utd team that is going to win titles. Talent wise he’s not better than Welbeck, Rashford or Januzaj at his age but he does have the mentality and determination which can take him far but only so far. I think he’ll be a Rashford level at best and that’s not good enough to win titles. Rashford should’ve been a squad player. Garnacho has his moments but he isn’t special at anything. He’s not a top dribbler, finisher or crosser of the ball. He’s just OK ability wise. I personally think he’ll be in Osasuna or somewhere similar in a few years because he’s not got the ability to play at the top level. There is no excuse for being young. I’ve seen Rooney at 16 boss Arsenal. When you’ve watched enough football you can see who’s going to be a worldie imo.
From the academy I think Shea Lacey looks quality. His close control and finishing looks class at the moment.
Dan Gore is potentially a good player as he’s tenacious, great balance and a good ball carrier. He also has the determination.
Not sure on Fletchers sons, never seen them but im concerned about the jobs for the boys stuff. If they’re good then they’re good but Darren fletcher needs removing from his position tbh, I hear he does F all.
