  • This herb has essential nutrients and should be consumed daily
Parsley offers many more nutrients than people suspect.
A 1/2 cup (30 grams) of parsley provides:
    Calories: 11 calories
    Carbs: 2 grams
    Protein: 1 gram
    Fat: less than 1 gram
    Fiber: 1 gram
Vitamin A: 108% of the Reference Daily Intake (RDI)
Vitamin C: 53% of the RDI
Vitamin K: 547% of the RDI
    Folate: 11% of the RDI
    Potassium: 4% of the RDI
The herb is rich in many vitamins, particularly vitamin K, which is needed for blood clotting and bone health
Parsley is also a great source of vitamins A and C - important nutrients with antioxidant properties
Additionally, it’s very low in calories yet packed with flavor, making it a great low-calorie ingredient for many recipes.

Thanks for watching my video Blessing... I add parsley (straight from the freezer) on ALL my dishes. I also add some more after I reheat my plate/meal as well. It tastes delicious.
      Keep healthy!!!

I am truly happy with your video. This helps me save so much parsley. But say, after I freeze it, as shown, can I simply add 4 tbs to my salad and it will not go all mushy and wet?

Hi there. Thanks for watching my videos. It will not be crispy but it will taste the same. I put it on my potato salad and it is perfect. On fresh salad it may look a little wet. LIVE LONG AND WELL!!

i froze some parsley and it was soggy when i used it... maybe it was not dry enough???

    • @ElainesVEGANKitchen

Hi thanks for watching my videos. Try to dry them a little more and make sure it is in a sealed container... I use it on hot dishes like soups, rice and stir-fried dishes but I also use it on potato salads and other vegetable salads like zucchini, eggplant, pumpkin. Nutritious, delicious and beautiful dishes. Live long and well.
