Boss SY-1 SYNTHESIZER Pedal - Guitar Just Got Kicked in the A$$!!

The Boss SY-1 Pedal is here. Boss/Roland has a long history with synthesizers. Instead of yet more pointless variations on old overdrive and distortion pedals, Boss keeps coming out with products that are both NEW and GOOD. I bought it for fun novelty but it quickly became a mainstay on my board. I only have 5 pedals on it and this is one of them. I thought I would be making crazy synth sounds but really, I use it mostly to mix subtle colorings in with the guitar signal. You miss a lot not using an expression pedal. I’ve had a couple other synth pedals but this one really excels at tracking. I feel I can just play guitar with out throwing it off and having to be careful to give it real clean playing.
