That bike is really coming along! Nice graphics; soft green wing non-skid black, great 3d look in reverse....you genius! Like the washer/rod connection, I've logged that one in my memory banks. Thanks
Like the skate board has given birth to a bicycle in a spark of creativity. Nice tactics using tape rather than transfer screws to get the hole locations, will try that.
I am glad Simone did a video with you, because now after discovering your videos I cannot stop watching them. They are relaxing with just showing you just making cool things. Keep it up!
Brilliant - anyone should be able to see that Beautiful, expressive, practical, with a sense of humor Both the bike and the video, poetry "Don't tell me, show me"
Laura, your work inspires me. "In art, everything serves a purpose." "Everything necessary, nothing superfluous." Gracious of you to respond. Thank you.
What started out as a "rescued bike", is beginning to look rather radical. Can't wait for the final paint job and the beer party!!! (That "coffee cup holder" is really for a can of Fosters, I know).
Laura, The thing I love about your videos is the organization and the thought out idea and presentation of your thoughts. whew that was a mouthful. Anyway, I loved your video, great project...
Laura; your work is something I look forward to every week. I have such respect for your approach, attitude and talent. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into life. ~ Dan
As having a handfull of skate board decks at the house - I can see doing something with them....but very creative use of your handsaw for advertising! LOL!
I just got given a rusty old bike some days ago. It doesn't have mudguards. AND I have a really old skateboard somewhere. I think you just decided what my next project will be !!!
waouh super nice... the old skater in me cried a little bit when you chopped the board, but then i thoughts "meh... at least it has a new purpose" super nice build as usual (and my daughter loved it)
Olivier Chambon heh I still cringe whenever she cuts into a bike, even though I know unequivocally that she's going to do something great with or to it.
great video! couple of questions... doesn't the front wheel throw up all lot of water by not having a mud guard on the back? and where do you buy that bright colored painters tape? thanks!
the back wheel is worse because you are sitting over it...the legs are further away from the frontwheel...so it´s not that bad. the tape is called console tape
God DAMNIT THIS IS SO COOOL ! !! I still wish I had my old workshop from when I lived in Los Angeles. I can barely fit al my bikes in the basement here in the 089. :(
You know you are doing something unique when you have a difficult time trying to find a title. Love your work Laura it was great listening to you on the Reclaimed Audio Podcast and the Makers Hustle Podcast.
