one of my favorite things in your videos is watching your face of satisfaction and how you are having fun while making the thing in turn. it always cheers me up and inspires me to also make things

That pug is the world's cutest shop supervisor ever. Cool seat. I need one for my bike, as my current seat feels like I'm getting a rectal probe by aliens.

Impressed with the Bananaseat and how you integrated the bend in the board into your seat.but...I am in love with your sewing machine. Looking for that Bernina since years. HABEN,HABEN,HABEN. Thanks for the entertainment. Well done.

My suggestion is that you should paste some thin rubber material under plywood seat.On this way you will protect wood and seat textil cover from water.
I like so much your videos. I watch every new video. Every new video is better than last one.
    😍👌☺️

I love seeing you try things outside of your comfort zone. The sewing for instance, just the look on your face was pure determination. Great job, so cool.

Wow...who would have ever thought that the banana seat (which was new and popular 45 years ago (when I was 9) would have a comeback in 2019?!?! Much less be the object of a very hip DIY video! Nice job, Laura!

Using a grinder on foam....kind alike using a flame thrower to melt snow....both highly effective and satisfying. Nice approach to the problem!

This is an awesome, old-school banana seat! It looks like the seat's pivot point (at the truck articulation knuckle) adds a third way the bike bends while in motion

    Ok, couple of things things.
Using the trucks for a rear rack/struts, cmon, that's just brilliant. Does the ass end wobble because of the trucks?
Also, how strong is the seatpost hole if it does wobble?
I've tried to do this three times now, and turns out, stitching a banana seat by hand when you have no idea what you are doing, is kind of difficult.
    Amazing work, per usual.
    Thanks for this!

to cut the foam for building motorbike seats we usually use a chicken knife.. the alternating and motorized one.. the one designed for cutting bread actually with serrated edge blade ... it works very well on foam to build motorbike seats ... give it a try .. and to drill a clean big hole into wood drill it with the desired drill size but with piece of scrap wood underneath the wood for into you want the hole.. the drill will keep cutting trough the two layers od wood and you will end with a clean hole on the seat holder piece...

btw, if you drill part way through from one side so the pilot drill sticks out, you can then drill from the other to prevent tearout ;)

Very cool idea but how this bike will make a tern if the pedals scratch the ground
After revisiting the video after 4 years I think that this is dangerous because these 2 rods that supports the seat in the back are to thin to withstand the forces and may break or bend I hope after day to day use if you seat to far back
