Fixed Gear Front Rack - MASH x ILE

- Finally got my hand on the MASH SF front rack and MASH x ILE bag combo! Decided to fit it to the Gazzetta and I'm pretty dam stoked how it looks and functions. The chrome speckled flake looks sweet up close and the bag fits super snug over the rack. Overall really stoked with it!

L shaped fork bracket is upside down i think, done a few custom racks and i love using v brake pad washers with the concave / convex washers...i never throw them out once the pads are worn i repurpose them for racks fitment.
Grat vid an the only time i will say "you got a nice rack" to a bloke 😆

I've got a very similar front rack. That video shows me small differences can be big improvements. Mine was not as easy and good to mount.
What rack do you have?
@@waveywheeliesI bought my rack onlne more than a year ago. It doesnt habe a brand and name. Looks very similar to yours, but little details are different. E.g. it didn't come with different bolts to fix it at the fork. The lower end where you fix the rack at the axle is straight. So the tube of the rack and the tube of the fork overlap at the point they meet. So I had to use force and squeezed the ends of both tubes together by tightening the bolt on the axle.
Its a bit hard to describe, but it was not possible to mount my rack without damaging it a bit and also do some scratches to my fork. I dont care and like the rack, but I would not mount it to a better and expensive bike. Yours looks like it would fit perfectly.

Just curious what length head stem you prefer mate? Most of your builds seem to use a similar length.

If you had used the other mounting position on the rack it would have raised the front of the rack making it more level.

Put some fenders on the front and back... it saves your clothes in iffynweather. And they weigh less than 350 grams per fender.

Very cool, and very pricy... but it's a Cinelli, so whatever. Nice paint, and really handy it includes set of different bolts etc.
The crown mount, can it be flipped to get a level rack top? I mean I can do anything I want but have you tried it?

I'd put a basket on the rack for ultimate practicality. Then you can just pop the bag in without having to fit it to the rack, and you'e not tied down to one bag. Anyway, nice setup.
