That is more than a once in a lifetime find! I have been hunting for almost 60 years and have never found anything like it! I do have 5 bird stones and many hammers, axes and celts but never a pipe.Great save young man,and thanks for sharing with us.
Spike, thanks so much for the video, but more importantly being so kind to my son! He has been showing me yalls videos and has been inspired to get out there looking. I told him that I have about a 50 year head start on him and he's already surpassed everything I've ever found. It's something that we enjoy doing together which makes this old dad happy because he wants to spend time with me. It seems to me that most everyone in this community of artifact hunters are good genuine folks and I'm glad Richard is a part of it. Keep on rockin!!

And in artifact exhibitions there will always be something new that catches our attention, just like when you visit a friend to see his collection of artifacts and bits. I was at the show in Purvis and happened to be at your table when he brought it in! At the time , I did not know it was a Mississippi find. Geezaree ! Fantastic find Richard ! Thanks Spike for presenting it to us. I share your joy Richard as I found a much smaller, stone, broken bird effigy pipe close to Ft. Watson, SC which is on the Santee River next to I-95, an Indian mound and Revolutionary War fort site built on the mound. Never found the missing pieces but no less thrilling. Congratulations, shows persistence pays dividends.
Outstanding! Does my heart good to know their are things like that incredible piece out there still. Very cool how TH-cam videos are helping bring these things out of the dirt and into the light of day.
WOW!! What an amazing find, and even more amazing he's found almost all of it! ❤ Truth be told, Heartbreaker Relics and Pine Belt Relics have inspired and educated many on looking artifacts, I know you did for me. First class all the way ❤ Thanks!!
What an awesome find and story Spike! Congrats to the man who found it! The thrill of the hunt never gets old. Thanks for sharing and we enjoyed watching. 👍🏻
What an amazing piece of history. I sure hope you have it restored! It is totally worth what ever it costs to have it done. That really is the finest effigy pipe I have ever had the pleasure to see.
Would love to see the results of the restoration. It needs to be seen in all its glory.....what a find sir, that is what keeps us going. Thank you heartbreaker relics ans the time you put into these videos. God bless
I'd like to share the location of a small museum in East Tn that has some of the finest artifacts I've ever seen. Effigies of people, animals, pipes, points, pottery, beads. The man that was Mayor there collected them for 50 or more years. It's in Tellico Plains, TN., at the Tellico Plains visitor center. Also, old guns, money, too much things to list. It's paid for by donations, but no fee to go in. You won't be disappointed.
Awsome video guys and a remarkable find. I guess it's just the fact of what your holding in your hand and knowing where it came from and how and who made it that makes us emotional. Keep diggin and siftin God Bless you all.
Been hunting arrowheads for more then half my life and found nothing like that beautiful piece I did find a purple amnithest jem spear 61/4 long 1/4thick beautiful spearhead wish I could show yall the pic of it
I’ve found a lot of relics, been to several shows and have several books on Native American artifacts BUT In my opinion, this tops em all. Plus it’s because it’s from Ms., where I’m from. Beautiful work to be carved with bone, stone and bare hands. Stellar piece my man.

I’m in Louisiana, actually the Mississippi and Louisiana line. I picked up a rock close to the river. Around 2 inches in diameter. It looks like a mini temple like structure. Appears to be carved. Like if you would make mudd pies and draw while still soft. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
My dad found an Effighy pipe in Covington County, Ala years ago in a ghost town called Poley, near Opp. He wa so excited! A man in Dothan , offered him 1000.00 for it, and He turned it down, of course.
I've never been to one of these shows. I've gotta get to one this year. Plan on going to the flint ridge knap in this fall though. Wanna buy some material to work. I've been working on hand polishing a celt. I'm just taking my time on it 30min at a time. Bout half way thru with it. Video will post when its done. Think I'm gonna start a 2nd channel just for knapping and hunting artifacts.
@@HeartbreakerRelics I'm sure I'll love it man. My older cousin has some peices that he's found over the years that I plan to do a collection video on. Some fine peices from here in Eastern KY. I'll mention you in the description.

I can help with this at no charge if they can't find a suitable restoration person. I'm not that far away in Alabama.
Richard,,,first of all,,,If you read this,,,please never sell that piece. Keep it forever. That'll likely never happen again.
