Well, the exchange office thing isn't technically a scam. It's just a very unfavorable offer. When you go to a shop, no matter if it's for a food, jacket, gold ring, watch, toilet cleaner, dildo, book...anything, you always check the price before you pay. Why not doing the same when buying a foreign currency? What's wrong with saying: "I have €100, how many Czech Korunas would I get from you?" They couldn't lie because like I said, it's not really a scam but just a terrible deal. They'd tell you exactly how much you'd get for your €100 and then it'd be entirely up to you to either walk away or accept the terrible offer. It's exactly as if there was a restaurant that charged €30 for a pint of beer and you went in, drunk a few and then cried over the bill. Someone who is charging crazy money for something isn't a scammer but a person you want to avoid and never do business with.

When we arrived, I saw two boards with a bunch of numbers and I did not know what the exchange rate was (I think they put up these boards on purpose to get you confused) I asked him "what is the rate that is applying today to buy crowns?" to which the guy replied, "What kind of fu%$ question is that?" I was so upset and I didnt know what I had done wrong and I was upset this is the first impression my friend who I picked up was having in her visit to Prague... So, I remembered a few nice Czech words and told him "Do Pic#, ty #$raku" hahaha and we both left.

Thanks for exposing these idiots. We almost fell victim to scammers while in Paris back in 1999. Thankfully someone was kind enough to warn us.

Okay 7:27 😢
Thats just evil. He's literally crying!
that woman who laughed behind the wall i never let her slide that that would be the last video in her life
You should have bodyguards, these scammers are dangerous
Or Self defense item
too expensive ,or maybe they have other ways of earning money
Thank you

Your work is pricesless man. I admire your braveness
... bravery.
Man, you guys have patience. If I was put into a position where a currency exchange scammed me *that* bad, they'd have more damage; broken windows, broken doors, removed from hinges, etc. I'd make them work for the money they took.
Thank you so much for your job fot that city. Anyway We're a couple from Spain that we traveled two years ago to your city anfd we were tryed to be scamed by one the exchange office that it appears on your video(the one that is located in the old town ). Its a really pleasure to know that nowadays is closed, if it really is. They try to scam as telling us that the change that we firm for was not the one that it appears on the screen of the window. So we decided to stay inside that shit of local and telling everyone that came inside to evoid to change money inside because they are burglars. Thank you again for your job.Keep doing it.
great job
I can't wait to get back to Prague. Was planning on going this year. It would have been my third time. Beautiful city.
You ain't going to Prague ever again my friend.
@@gettingstuckin9205 it's starting to look like that isn't it! 😁
To be honest it's like the police doesn't care. You do a far better job than they do. It's disgusting behaviour.
In some cases they couldn't give a crap, in others like the exchange office scams it is legal and in the very small print. Thats why those scumbags filming and laughing were so brazen, they know there is nothing the police can do.
This needs to go viral af.
It is amazing when you hear the name of your small balkan country being associated with crime and violence.
I gotta say I appreciate the videos these guys put out, it has convinced me never to visit Prague, in any capacity.
I had the ATM scammer try that on me In Praha the only time I got scammed was a taxi ride 900 crownes for a trip up the road . Lesson learnt
Being scammed is very beneficial in one's life,it teaches him a valuable lesson, and saves money in the long run.
My Heroes! Huge Respect & Gratitude, Massive Thank you!
I'd definitely watch your netflix series if you make one.
i can believe a country like Chez Republic in European UNion would allow someone to be scammed from an exchange and police do nothing i am from Tirana Albania my country is not in the European Union yet and if an exchange scams someone the police will shut down and put them in prison i felt so sorry for the guy saying his daughter was ill wow man and the woman laughing
I respect the your work even you got spitted by the scammer idiot. Your patience is unbelievable. Kudos to you bro.
All the best to you guys! You are doing such a great job! I wish there are more heroes like you!
The last one was sad, the scammer literally recorded themselves saying “We destroyed the whole family”
Lol you guys are doing the police fraud departments job for them but better apparently lol I think the police there should pay you guys for doing the leg work and getting the amount of evidence for them .
Well done guys ! Outstanding !!!
Prague: Exists
Belarus: *Here comes the money*
Prague is such a beautiful city, when this pandemic is over, I jump in my car cross the border and visit this city again. Your honest guides will accompany me.
I want to see a Czech Sherlock with Janek as Holmes
Dobro. Thank high heavens for things going your way. Great job you do, and thank you for it. Sure hope no weirdoes will come after you. Seriously. Stay safe, people like you are needed more than anything. Fighting criminals is a hard hard way to go.
Wow, the amount of work you did to uncover the depths of these scams is astounding.
What the hell were the police doing?
What was the police doing ? Counting their share :)
Spending the money they were paid off with of course
Thank you for documenting this and keeping the public informed. But please stay safe.
6:47 I like, how the footage is cut in the moment when Janek is going to wipe the spit in the guys shirt. That really got me 😁.
Jinak super práce pánové, před vámi smekám. Neměl bych na to dělat vaši práci, lidi jsou někdy fakt strašný svině.
Hats off! And keep going please. Kindness, respect and honesty will always pay off! 🙏🏼
You should get really sticky stickers and stick them in all the scam offices, so people will notice what they are!!
Keep up the good work bro..You are a blessing to our generation and its people like you that helps bring order to a nation..Backing you all the way
Just a question: how did you get the videos of the scammed which filmed it themselves? I am not saying it was you but it is just interesting where the videos came from
I believe these people are so arrogant, they post it somewhere on social networks like instagram.
@@Darwinek Makes sense. That is very sad.
Dude mad respect to you. Some situations got very heated.
Holy shit, a netflix series? Make sure to get it to Sweden 👌
Hell yes we need that!
Like, as in, make it viewable in Sweden on Netflix? If so, and if it's not available in Sweden, just use a VPN and watch it.
I’m so happy that they now get sponsors because they are so brave and they work hard
May Allah bless the family who suffered - and deal with the one who committed the act. 🙏
7.20 He says his child is seriously ill and needs that money. But scammer who stole his money, laughs at him! Man, just break the glass and take your money back! Looks like these scammers are protected by the corrupt governments.
scammer: tries to scam me*
me: I watch honest guide
scammer: understandable, have a nice day
Lol nah, after I tell them I've seen honest guide, then I beat their fucking face in and rob them.
Good work bro!
keep uncover this scamers
Imagine walking as a scammer then seeing this guy
"What's your emergency?"
*"Arrest me"*
This is sick, thanks for what you’re doing 👍🏻
Hey, Ive been living in Prague for almost 5 years now. I went to pick up a friend at Florenc station and right next to the entrance of the metro, there are two of these exchange places. So, I went to one of them with my friend that needed some Czech crowns.
You're doing incredible work.
6:46 guy was saying "im spitting on you"
Great work guys , Respect for all you do .
like 20 sec after posting :D
I love the feel good videos when these scammers "mysteriously" end up dead!
Prague is a beautiful city, please don't ruin it.
I'm Czech
Have you ever been in Prague ?
Prague is best wihout any tourists
and Right NOW there are NO tourists or scams or anything related
@@BoboMsubscribe On the one hand, you're right, Prague looks good without tourists. But you only think about yourself, imagine how many businesses will close without tourists? How many people have already lost their jobs because of this and how many more will become unemployed? And also, think about the fact that the Czechs do not spend a lot of money, but foreigners in the Czech Republic spend a lot, and this brings money to the Czechs, can you imagine that?
@@BoboMsubscribe Umm, I know you're probably a kid, but you really need to read something about the advantages of tourism. We need to take care of these scammers and not discourage tourists from coming to our city. That would make no sense at all.
@@BoboMsubscribe scammers go where tourists go... Target scammers not tourists ✌🏻
Ehmmmm he is just saying the truth...
