Since frequency is 50Hz,
50 dots in 1s; 1 dot in 1/50s=0.02s.

Total time= 5 * 10 ticks but each tick is 0.02s so , total time= 1sec, a little this step got my attention

We cut the ticker tape strip to 10 ticks each. Making each strip or bar to be exactly 0.2s each.

This is a part of ticker tape with 7 ticks . But when i calculate the acceleration , the time between initial and final velocity should minus 1 . (The counting of the number of tick is started from the midpoint of the 1st tick and ended on the midpoint of the 7th tick)
Why this action is needed for accurate answer ? Why is the calculation of number of tick need to started from the midpoint? How does it affect the answer ?

when you mention calculate from the midpoint = its actually means, we calculate the whole tick (from one dot to another) and not the dots.
