I loved on my first trip to WDW (late 80's) getting a photo with Japanese Minnie and several other characters who were in traditional dress for the pavilion they were at. That was back in the days when you saw characters, including the big 5, just wandering through rather than having to wait in line forever for a pic. (Unfortunately those albums were lost to a hurricane so I only have the memories.)
I remember The Wonders Of Life Pavillion well.- especially Cranium Command with General Knowledge in the pre show. I have a t-shirt with him on it. We also did the early morning Segway tour in EPCOT and experienced everything that was mentioned. World Showcase was opening and beginning to fill with people by the very end of our tour. Our guide cautioned us to watch for darting children, distracted adults and to try not to look too superior 😂. It was hard not to feel that way. We also did the Segway tour in Fort Wilderness years later. LaurieO

I saw it all get built and Japan had the coolest stuff. Mitsukosi was awesome!
