Based on the images you showed here, they both shine in different ways. Both of these lenses have different characteristics that if you pay close attention you can see, for the cost of these lenses they are definitely a must have.
Hehe, I own both, the 1.2 version is like a toy camera lens, it is just horribly crappy. The 1.4 is a another story, it is acceptable, and a steal for the price! Just remember, all the cheap lenses have quite have barrel or cushion distorsion so they cannot be used for any SOOC shooting (straight out of camera) and always need distorsion correction in post.
Thanks for the feedbaxk on the music. I am experimebting with it. If tou check the latest episode it is backgroubd jazz. Love it if you could provide feedback on it :)
I am times testibg some editing techniques :) flip screen is one of those experiments :) thanks for the feedback ill limit it for future references! Glad you found the review usefull ⭐
Yeah it did took me by surprise, as outdoor scenarios in that way are deceptive when it comes to sharpness. Overall the price-quality on both the lenses is pretty good.
@@mydearriley thanks for quesrion. I am afraid i can't tell you as i dont own the Mark II. From what i have seen it is a little bit better. If i have some bidget left i might purchase it
It is ttartisan not artisans. Both are different companies. Are you dutch btw- I hear the familiar accent:) I prefer the ttartisan lenses. All of them are great and sharp

Thanks for the input and comment. Highly appreciated :) stay tuned for the ttArtisan 50mm f/1.2 review which is upcoming
TT Artisan not Artisan-s- It's one of the 7 who created his own company.

Please give me the cheap lenses if you do not want them I need a lens
Brooo which camera do you use for vlogging? That focus is fast and so smooth!!!
It was the sony a6400 with the Sigma 16mm. Links in the description :)
Really useful appraisal thanks. One thing - the digital 'muzak' in the background serves no purpose and distracts IMHO.

@@PaulTakesPhotos Will do, and thanks for your videos man - they tell it straight!
Why does the video keep flipping? Really messes with the video. Otherwise great review?

Have lenses from both brand, all very cost-effective. Personally prefer TTArtisan lens. Nice review Paul.
Thank you Cynthia. The TTArtisan provides a fun experience doesnt it
Why do you prefer the TT over the 7a?
Nice review Paul. Pretty cool lenses & the image quality is decent enough at this pricepoint for sure. The TT is sharp as wide open👍👍👏

@@PaulTakesPhotos What about the mark 2? Is the center sharpness similar to the ttartisans?

7artisan better
@@alvarogvdltgarcia52 have you tried both? Ttartisan is razorsharp and esspecially their 35mm 1.4
Thanks for sharing my friend!
Thank you for making this lens! 😍
Any chance of Mark II in the pipeline?
This guy soinds like Mike Myers impersonating a dutch guy....
Hahaha it is actually the way I talk. Not sure if it is a compliment but I'll take it regardless
And meike one?
I will be making an episode on all three, see which one really shines
I had a meike but sold it. Nowhere near the quality of the ttartisan. The microcontrast is less refined as on the ttartisan
