All I had to do was go back to regular vanilla, switch to windowed, then go back to beta) I'll just paste what I wrote on the Steam bug report forum: "I've tried five times ('bout 10 now) to start the game. First time I saw the "Long loading screen ahead" message, which disappeared after a few second, then the main menu theme started playing, but the screen remained black. That went on for 5 minutes before I closed the game through task manager. Second attempt I got to the main menu, but the resolution was way off, so I had to activate borderless fullscreen to see the entire menu. I started the game, then the screen turned black again. The level music started playing, but I couldn't see anything. The screen turned grey everytime I clicked or hit the movement buttons. Force-quit the game again. Any attempt after this I did not even get the loading screen message, it just went to main menu theme and black screen forever. EDIT: Correction, I can apparently navigate the menus with WASD, and Space since I can hear sounds when I use those buttons, but I cannot see anything." I'm on Windows 10. AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti. Currently haven't seen any indication that other players are also having this issue, so I'm curious what the cause is. Might be the borderless full screen setting since every attempt after that has had the same result while the first two times I could actually see 'something'

I've been trying to spread the word, I bought it for my girlfriend, I bought it for my brother, I recommended it to friends. It deserves this whole recognition and more.

Just dipped back in recently as I saw the update and my jaw hit the floor. The amount of content and improvements made to an already great game are staggering. This game firmly slots into the GOAT list of essential roguelikes. Bravo 🎉

Definitely got a little upset of it being a little far away for the simplicity of the game, but after watching this, I completely underestimated what this update was. Now I am so unbelievably excited to play the new update for how much new content has been introduced. Heres to some massive popularity gain after this.

Also I assume the new characters are kinda like tainted versions or b sides? Chaos looks like it's the alt version for the doppelganger.
Just downloaded the update and I’m minutes away from hopping on. Job well fucking done. Make the next expansions paid and I’m sure everyone would happily pay for them. (I saw the price increase, but I already owned the game on release) well deserved man. Get that bread. Keep up the good work.

Timeless in every right. This game excels in every dimension of a rogue lite that truly dominates every other AAA game I've played. Every rework is such a banger like the music, and there's more to come?? This already blows my mind as it is, and I've barely even touched all the unlocked characters in this update! This is worth 10x its current price, and if it can be ported to mobile, it'll blow my mind even more. The dev doesn't even monetize the updates. Top class, absolute gigachad. I look forward to even more for this game, and it's probably the biggest reason for me to start streaming! Cheers!
