- This week was one reason I really enjoy owning owning a pawn shop. Before that, first we go to a yard sale where I buy some sterling silver for $1 that I should be able to flip for good money. Next, a guy comes into the pawn shop with a ton of coins and we try to make a deal on a few item but the negotiation on a few item was tough to come together on. After that, we go back to a yard sale where we find an item to flip on eBay for hundreds of dollars and lastly, a lady comes into the pawn shop with a ton of gold she only things is worth a couple hundred dollars. So if you enjoy everything reselling or pawn shop related this may be the channel for you.

I had a broken gold necklace. I also had some gold cuff links and my daughter said just throw it away. I said but it’s gold . I took to my local coin shop . They paid me over $400.00 dollars . This was 2 years ago. My daughter was shocked when I told her what they gave me for it. And Gold is much higher now. Thanks for being so fair to people and still making money.
@@cindyclark8228 Some people just don't know. I've been to yard sales and found 14k old jewelry. Lowest I paid was 50 cents for a rope bracelet. Best score was a standing jewelry box for $100. loaded with mostly costume jewelry. Gaudy and ugly. It was an estate sale. What they missed was both sides had doors that opened up with hook for necklaces. I got nine 14k chains of different sizes. In the drawers and the top in with the costume jewelry were a few gold pieces as well. Not a single diamond though. I think they pulled anything they thought was worth anything.
