Yes he cooks too. His older sister Park Yoora is news anchor.
He's got his own studio under licensed from his name Yeol. He's a composer but SM wont let them have their own artistic freedom so he posts some of the songs on Soundcloud. He’s a brand ambassador of TH for 2 years now.He is also into different kinds of sports. He loves soccer his jersey number is 61 (all of them have jersey numbers they normally use during concerts)
He is also a licensed diver. He got into SM for vocals but SM trained him to be a rapper since he can do beatbox.

We always say EXO is a multi-talented group (our rappers are vocalists, our vocalists can rap, all the members have acted, etc), but Chanyeol takes the cake. He kinda throws himself into hobbies & learning new things, until he's a pro at them. He cooks, he snowboards, he composes, he's self-taught on multiple instruments, he edits video he takes, etc. His current obsession is astronomy^.^ He's in a drama airing on Netflix, if you're interested in seeing him act; the drama is called Memories of Alhambra.
Chanyeol is the 2nd(?) most followed Korean celebrity on Instagram, and that's where he does some of his lives. He also has a TH-cam channel where he uploaded a video he edited of footage he took from a snowboarding trip^.^ And, of course, he has a Soundcloud~ BTW, his family dog Toben as has an Instagram, and it is the cutest thing^.^
Chanyeol is actually allergic to most animals, but he always pets & plays with any animal he meets. He said he used to have a lot of pets, including a ferret, when he was younger, but he became allergic. But I guess he just takes medicine for it because his family recently got Toben, and while he lives at the Park household, Chanyeol goes there when he isn't staying in EXO's dorms & he loves that dog!~ Chanyeol is always giddy to show us pics of his "little brother"(cause apparently Toben knows Chanyeol as "hyung")^.^ Mama Park will take Toben to Viva Polo (which is actually sadly closing because their lease with the franchise is coming to an end soon), and fans can spoil Toben with attention^.^~
He could probably look very intimidating, given his height and deep voice, but he's honestly the softest. Baekhyun has expressed worry that someone will take advantage and hurt Chanyeol's soft heart=( He's well aware of his height, and he does his best to shrink his height when he's around seniors in the industry; he is just a smol~~~
Torie Carter I’ve so been enjoying his new drama! I also am a new EXO-L, so I’ve been watching A LOT of their dramas. I have to say, he is one of the most talented of the group, with such a wide range of talent. What’s not to like about Chanyeol?? When he did the duet for the Goblin OST, I was floored by his voice!

Added info! Chanyeol got into SM through his singing! :) but he’s the “whatever i am interested in i can learn” type haha. He was interested in rapping so he pursued that while he was training. I think it was a good decision since EXO is filled with great vocalists, it would have been hard to get a steady part. He’s always had singing lines though even as the main rapper. Oh and most of his lives are on his instagram, real__pcy, which is the second most followed k-celeb account (GD has around 100k more followers I think). He recently hit 16M! I’m glad fate gave you Chanyeol as a first guide haha because this vid is really great, it helps that Chanyeol has a variety of talents.

I'm with Exo and Chanyeol since their debut, and it was weird for me first to see that you really don't know anything about them xD but it's cool. I'm glad you want to know them.
I never watch those guides cause I know him [and all of exo] really well, but it was nice watch this with your reactions hehe and to remember again all the good things in Chanyeollie♥ HE'S SO TALENTED. I'M SO PROUD OF MY BIAS.
You'll see in the rest of the videos that pretty much all of them are stated as visuals, dancers, and vocalists, it's just that each will have their strenght in one or another mostly (there are main dancers and vocals after all). But yeah, just a heads up that you'll see that repeated a lot. At this point all of them do or have done pretty much a bit of everything. It's been almost 7 years after all, the boys have grown up SO much since their early days.
As for Chanyeol, he intended originally to be part of a band, and he is very passionate about music. He also has a knack for learning things, he gets really fired up about whatever interests him at the moment and gets really focused in learning. That's how he easily picks up instruments (or sports sometimes). Besides the songs he manages to squeeze in their discography, he also works on music himself, he uploads some of his works on his soundcloud and sometiems does vlives from his studio. It's a pitty but they don't usually have the room to put their own work in their albums.
Also, I think this user had their D.O guide taken down for some reason, I think it was because of the many dramas and movie clips it had. I don't know if there's another good, thorough guide for him somewhere.
(I'm sure lots will say this so I'll try and make it quick) They were 12 members originally, divided in two subgroups (one promoted in chinese and the other in korean). But after three of the chinese members left, they were reorganized as one single 9 member group. If you watch older MVs or videos you might see more or less members, depending if it was all of them or a subgroup. It can be a bit confusing at first, so just in case. And also, keep in mind that these kids debuted with a concept of superpowers and extraterrestial beings and so. Be ready for that too, in case it pops up somewhere! Well, aren't they a fun bunch? ;)
Chanyeol's one of the all-rounder members of EXO (Yeol, Lay, Xiumin). He maybe tall and looks strong but Baekhyun said Chanyeol has a sensitive or soft heart. He's the happy virus since he talks and smiles a lot. He has lots of hobbies too. If he concentrates to it then he'll definitely do it. He works out a lot these days. He's fit. He loves himself so much and shows it in a very cute way.
He's also scary when he's mad. Sasaengs know that. There was once a chaos in the airport and someone bumped and walked past through him. He looked really mad.

Anne Jung Baekhyun did not become one of the best kpop vocalists, a great dancer, a rapper in CBX and a pianist for you to leave him out of the all rounder members.

When you said you were glad you didn't know about EXO before otherwise you wouldn't had finished collage I was like "yeah it was tough!". Also I laughed because you were amazed he was a dancer and well "dancer" is overstating it a little bit (says a Chanyeol biased). Suho and Chanyeol are officially the two members that are less skilled when it comes to dancing. Of course they can both follow EXO's choreos which makes you automatically good enough but they need to work probably extra hard than the rest to get there. Anyways I'm looking forward to watch your 9 days of EXO-mas.
Suho, Chen and Chanyeol have come a long way from being okay dancers they are now so much better and have improved so much. Especially Chanyeol since he's so lanky and clumsy he has done so well.

They hv come a long way yes they used to be worst dancers in exo but that doesnt give u the right to say that this member or that member hv to work harder i mean cy be getting additional classes to improve his dancing bcs he knows bout it, and jm his skill is probably even better than the some of other members too now and he had his own strength in dancing

I don't think we need to be solemn when talking about their skills. No one is perfect I know we like to think they are but honestly perfection is boring. If I was being mean spirited ok but that's not the case. Specially with Chanyeol and Suho, me being mean spirited to them is literally imposible.
Including Chen. They are dance holes in exo. But over the years they have improved so much esp Chen.

actually, chanbaek(chanyeol x baekhyun) is the most superior ship and the most popular one in EXO, i wasnt a big chanbaek shipper in the past but since im an exol since debut, i saw things and witnessed things that made me a big shipper.
The moments they put here are just really small moments, chanbaek is kind of more of an off cam ship xDD (you should watch chanbaek's underrated and sneaky mmoments)

Chanyeol, he is a one big precious baby😣😣😣 he has like the softest heart in exo. Even all the members said so and baekhyun mentioned that he's worried that if anyone will hurt his big heart cos his heart is so soft. His sister also worried about him bcs he really cant say no to ppl. He looks tall but believe me, u'll be shocked at how soft he is😭😭😭 also yes he cooks, and excel in every thing once he pays attention to it. Bowling, billiard r fews of it. Lately he's into star gazing and recently he uploaded an image of moon with such great quality. Additional info he is the member that nvr hesitate to spend moneys on his loved ones. He bought laptop for each members, a mercedez for his sister :))

Exo is a very talented group with a very toxic fandom ( only a small part but very scary and agressive, you might realized it while getting all the hate comments on your first video about exos love shot). That's why i left the fandom, because i didn't want to be related with these kind of people. But still the band itself is amazing and deserves only the best.
