The weathering on your rolling stock looks great. I enjoyed seeing the switching operation for the warehouse on your layout, it does not take much to have a nice ops session just switching a few cars. -Tom
The East Penn switching layout series was totally awesome to watch! What are the dimensions (size) of the layout? This would be a perfect layout to recreate for limited apartment space.
Hi,I’ve been looking at your east penn switching layout,I’m doing something very similar on a 5’x18” board.are your turnouts medium or large radius.I’d be very grateful if you let me know.kind regards Alan Toulcher
Smashing work as usual, Mal! Good to see you’re still producing these wonderful small layouts. I was Jonte on RMWeb and Big Blue but sadly lost interest in N.American modelling. I have to say that during my brief dalliance with the Dark Side, my favourite go-to layouts were inarguably your minuscule works of art and Allagash. I occasionally revisit RMWeb and every Preston Guild it seems, drop in on the USA section, but when I do, I’m always delighted to discover more excellent modelling in your popular thread. Please keep it up. Best wishes. Jonte
Thanks for your kind comments. I remember you from RMWeb and your support was always very encouraging. I still very much enjoy building small US switching layouts. Regards, Mal
@@malcolmcraddock5041 TY...I notice you have tracks at a angle I guess to create a illusion that its bigger?? Is there a track plan and what switches were used ...your layout offers alot in that small area...lastly did you rearrange and change your buildings...seems like I seen this with a different look on a utube video..I will have 18"×7'
@@Justfor1day I just realised I made a mistake in my last post. The hidden staging track is 3ft long, not 6ft, so the total length of the layout is 9ft. I used Peco code 100 medium radius switches. I re-cycled the warehouse from my previous layout which you may have seen before. The track plan can be found here - www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/168098-east-penn-industrial-spur/
Your layout is super well done. The buildings, the scenery, loco is cool, cars and weathering all very well done. Bravo
Thanks. Your comments are much appreciated.. (Alcanman1)

The layout measures 9ft x 15 inches. It fits against a small bedroom wall, so would be ideal for an apartment. (Alcanman)
How long is your lead track? also could you do a full little tour?
