@@RK3Designs you are gorgeous. As a hairdresser of 35 years, Salon Owner and educator who started my career with new wave and punk styles and love high Glam.. I can honestly say she does a fantastic job. That cut is gorgeous.. Your hair color is magnificent.. Artists run in my family also.
Great job and love the work.. I have a formica bath vanity I would like to DIY myself can you give me tips on what to use I can buy from amazon or Home depot that I would need? thanks
I wouldn’t suggest purchasing epoxy from a big box store. Don’t waste time using inferior products. You’ll regret it. I suggest you watch a bunch of videos and start a list of the products you’ll need for the finish you decide to do.
I love what you’re doing! I plan to do this with a marble top in my foyer. Regarding the colors I loved what you had but I think I would have been a little more dramatic using the black! Either way I am a fan!
Thank you so much. I appreciate you watching. Yes stone coat is very safe. It’s made of 100% solid material with no solvent therefore having no VOCs. There is no odor and it’s non flammable. This is one of the main reasons I use it in our business and our classes. This is also why I became a distributor. 😊
@@RK3Designs thanks so much. The deep pour says it requires a top coat of artists epoxy for shine. Do you feel this is necessary for artwork? Does it require sanding to put the top coat on?
what im seeing you can do no wrong love all the videos, just a little unsure of the spray paints with this project ,what kind of spray paints are they im getting ready to do this my question is the white spray, is it gloss the antique brass is it metalic and all the powders are hey metalic
Aww. I do plenty wrong!! 😂😂😂. I use Rustoleum brand paint. It gives me the best results. I use gloss when available and satin if I need to. I don’t use flat or matte at all. The Antique Bronze is a metallic and yes, the powders are mica. 😊
I would be interested in an explanation of what is meant by "dirty pour." I've heard it a lot but haven't seen it defined. What's different from the other techniques? thanks
hwetherb hey there. A dirty pour is a term that became popular with Acrylic pours. A dirty pour is just describing the technique of layering different paints into one bucket then pour on a surface. Contrast that to a Clean pour, where the paints are layered directly onto the surface instead of in a bucket first. Great question! 😊.
Hi first time I’ve watched your channel, but enjoyed watching, but wish you would have showed after I was dry to see what the final picture looked like!
Thank you so much for watching and I really appreciate your feedback!!! We waited about 5 hours before we got the final photos. The piece didn’t change much after that. 😊
You're my guide. Love your videos, please use a dark colored background below the sample board. Sometimes its impossible to see the detailing of your work due to light background.
Hello. I have been watching your work for a long time, very interesting and beautiful. I wanted to ask, what are you looking for from bktylka in Donetsk? What kind of thing is this? It looks like plain water.
I have probably missed this before, sorry.... after it has dried what else do you do to a piece? I have heard topcoat being mentioned but i don't think I have seen you discuss the final steps. If there are any. thanks again for your wonderful work
Not a big fan of the baby poo colored base, but I liked the golden tones you end up with!! The pop of clay jalapenos was a great choice, but I think the smaller spots looked better than the big ones. They stood out too much?
I loved your video I WANT TO LEARN how to do this so bad I Absolutely Love it I want to learn so i can do as a Hobbie and maybe even a side job thanks for sharing!! Melissa Willis in Valdosta Georgia
We would LOVE to have you!!! Check out our website www.RK3Designs.com FMI on schedules and booking. We also have a very detailed online course www.OnlineEpoxyPro.com 😊
Pepper West my thoughts also. You should have seen my face when the camera stopped 😂😂😂😂. It actually does look much better in real life and the clay moved and dispersed a little. Looked pretty cool.
Oh myyyy how absolutely gorgeous! It really looks like stone. How beautiful.. As a hairdresser I also LOVE you Hair!
Thank you on BOTH accounts!! My daughter is also a hairdresser and keeps me up to date!! ❤️❤️

This is beyond gorgeous.!!I want a little more white but everything else is stunning !!! Wow, wow wow!!!! Truly stunning!!!
That’s so sweet. Thank you!!!
Loved it! I probably would've stopped before the very last step, mica. I am about to try my hand at epoxy countertops. Eek!
You’ll be fine!!!! Just have fun! 😊😊
Wow, that's interesting. I guess I could try that but I don't have enough colors. Will buy some more. Thank you!
You bet. The more colors the more fun 😊😊
Luv that you added spray paint w/alcohol and added fractures and then the clay mica was very nice 👍🏼
Thank you!! I just NEVER know when to stop 😂😂😂
RK3 Designs well your doing great 👍🏼

I am so addicted to watching your pours. Really magnificent work. May I ask do you feel stone coat is safer than other Epoxy?

leave it its gorgeous
Thank you! 😊😊
loved it before the clay it was beautiful 👍🤗
Was that alcohol with mystic moss you sprayed on.. And should we not use a flame over the alcohol? It's flammable right?
Yes and yes. 😂. You want to wait until the alcohol has dissipated before you torch for sure.
Looks beatiful with all the steps, thanks for sharing may God bless you
romerocarver thank you!! 😊
The extra step is awesome
Thank you!!! 😊.

I love this finish
I like the subtle and natural look a dirty pour gives. I have to admit, I was a little worried about my color
Choices 😂😂
I love it.you make it look so easy
❤️
The more I watch the more I want to do this!
You can do it for sure. 😊😊
You are amazing!!!

How you can help me
Email me your questions at rk3designs@gmail.com
What do use to colour your alcohol
Mica powders. We have them on our website 😊
You're my guide. Love your videos, please use a dark colored background below the sample board. Sometimes its impossible to see the detailing of your work due to light background.
Thank you for the suggestion, we've been working with the lighting some, but a dark plastic is a great idea!! Thank you!!!

I'd leave it... looks great.
Thank you so much!
I like it but I don't know if I would have put the clay on it can you show it when it dry and I would have tried maybe a little bigger vain
Thanks and I really appreciate your feedback and suggestion 😊

Hey there. I just put a “Flood Coat” which is just a clear layer of the same epoxy product. 😊
Not a big fan of the baby poo colored base, but I liked the golden tones you end up with!! The pop of clay jalapenos was a great choice, but I think the smaller spots looked better than the big ones. They stood out too much?

Cuanto mide la tabla???
12”x16”
Top muito show 🇧🇷🇧🇷
think the clay last step--mist instead of rounded drops...:)
I agree!
I think the clay was a step too far. Kind of just looks like accidental paint drops.
Pepper West my thoughts also. You should have seen my face when the camera stopped 😂😂😂😂. It actually does look much better in real life and the clay moved and dispersed a little. Looked pretty cool.
Clay is ugly up to that is awesome
i would leave it
Thanks for sharing
Too many additives for me I like more simple ingredients
I totally get it!! Thanks for the feedback!! 😊😊
3 steps too far.
As a viewer, I gotta say that repetitive terms, such as 'come in' or 'go ahead and ' can REALLY detract from the otherwise informative content.
