Rhonda you are the most incredible, talented person I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Your gifts and talent brings so many smiles and joy to thousands. People get to enjoy for years and years what you teach them here. Thank you for sharing your talents to us all. We are getting ready to start our kitchen with Rhonda’s guidance and can’t wait to send the pictures.
That is so sweet!!! I truly love what I do. I enjoy meeting and sharing with other!!!! I’m so glad to have met you and I know you’re gonna rock this business!
Looks gorgeous, I like lots of detail. I'm going to try a similar technique of the white side and add gold metallic streaks along with the white... very little amount and spread out
Both sides are beautiful! I have just finished a rock face edge on my Formica kitchen countertops, applied bonding primer and 2 coats of Behr P+P Broadway. Tonight I will pour the color coat of black metallic mica with diamond dust and black glitter then add a bit of pewter marbling. I will also add some interest to the rock edge with black metallic spray paint and pewter mica mixed with 91% isopropyl alcohol and maybe a touch of pearl mica. :) Having so much fun!! Keep the videos coming, love them!!!
love it! What might be neat is doing both sides on the whole sample board (e.g., your graite base with one or three veins diagonally across your board). I love both sides
Since this is just a sample board I’m not going to do a complete finish. Check out my videos that I have on Flood coats and applying the Ultimate Top Coat in both sheens.😊😊
Hello, congratulations on your beautiful work. Nobody has yet been able to answer this question for me. I have a kitchen with a granite countertop and backsplash (full wall up to the level of the cabinets) and I want to paint it marble white, but I know that the epoxy is self-leveling and so how to make the backsplash that does not squirt when the epoxy is applied. thank you so much
I suggest that you take down the existing backsplash or fabricate a new backsplash out of foam board and pour the design flat, then install it vertically once it’s cured.
Thank you Rhonda. It’s really difficult to pick, I really like the left (added white) just not the design, so for that reason I’d right the right. Hope that makes sense.
You make beautiful work...I love all of it! Your talent is amazing! I have some heavy peel and stick marble counter top paper with a high gloss...very sturdy. Is there a topcoat you might could suggest that I could you to paint over it as in a little top coat seal? Thank you so mUch
I would not hesitate using the Ultimate Top Coat. This is an incredible product. I do carry this on my website. There’s two sheens to choose from. Matte and gloss. 😊. www.rk3designs.com/products/ultimate-top-coat
Wow! I would have never thought to do it this way! Question: I want to resurface the seat in my shower. It is fiberglass. Can I paint it with the same stone coat paint you put on this board, first? Then, put a thin amount of stone coat epoxy on top of it.
What is the substrate of the seat? If it’s a non-porous surface like natural stone, you’ll need to sand and then apply a bonding primer before you paint and continue forward. This will ensure you have adequate adhesion.
Great video. Would love to attend your workshop but they’re all sold out. Will you be adding new dates soon? Also, do you have a source fir large mica flakes or crushed glass (small enough to be used for countertops). I would love to mimic a solid quartz look.
Hey there. Our class do sell out very quickly. We are working on our 2022 schedule and should have it posted this coming week. Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to receive the update. I actually have now carry the large flakes and will have them on my website within the next week or so. 😊
My son wants me to do his countertops. He likes the side that is more visually interesting but wants me to also add blue into it. How??? I can watch a video and copy but I have zero creativity or imagination. What would you suggest? Thank you of you could help me with this.
@@RK3Designs thank you. I’m gonna expand my painting business to also doing epoxy countertops so trying to watch and learn a lot. Gonna need all the help I can get lol

Very nice
Thank you!

رائع جدآ استفدت الكثير منك حقا
Left I love
I don’t really see anything on the left side but I love the right
It’s super hard to video black, but it’s a very soft granite look. Thanks so much for watching!
@@RK3Designs no worries. Maybe your camera person can get closer next time
I like the left
Thanks 😊
Both💞
❤️❤️
instead of lightly using black paint etc why not window tint paint? or can it not be used. also is acrylics possible in these kinds of applications
I’ve never used window tint paint. You can use acrylic but you have to be very careful with the amount. It can compromise the integrity of the epoxy.
@@RK3Designs Thanks for the info. Keep up the great work loving the videos

I would mix up some blue metallic mica like I did the white and add it. 😊
I realy enjoyed your videos , your creativity are so adorable , but please any frensh sub-titles

So is it 10oz between the 2 part a and b?
Yes. 😊

Left side
What is the name of the DISPERSION fluid?
So, if the cheap version of epoxy has not UV protection it means that overtime the epoxy will turn yellow hue😦
