Believe it or not my whole family room floor is Birdseye maple. It's a reclaimed floor from a 120 yr old house. It was in very rough condition, almost black in color and we had to scrape away decades of dirt between the grooves. I thought it a worthless mission. Was I wrong? It turned out beautiful! With prices for a sm item of Birdseye maple, and even furniture would only be a veneer imagine a whole floor what the cost would nowadays. Well of course they don't make floors out of it now. We got it for almost nothing, but, a lot of labor went into it. Just beautiful & special.
Sounds stunning! I'd love to see a picture of it. I can relate to the amount of work it takes. We reclaimed 50 year old red oak flooring from a home scheduled for demolition when the land was sold to a park. Well worth the effort!
The lake is part of the neighboring gravel pit. 😉 I would have snagged the mohsir teddy bear if he were "reasonably" priced. Am glad to see more favorable light shown onto Springfield. ❤❤❤❤
Having a late breakfast or early lunch at home & enjoyed watching this at the same time ... will have to finish later. I love all the neat items that see ... so many primitive items. For me i keep loving the primitive look more and more.
Hubby and I use to shop here all of the time until covid hit. Miss going to it. I love the smell of sweet annie! Many treasures to find for sure there! Janice
This was so fun Gabriella. Thank you for filming this for us. Totally enjoyed. So many great things to look at and admire. Hard decisions on what to buy, kind of overwhelming, but in a good way. Lol
Love the flea markets so those was fun. Saw lots of things I would have wanted had I been there. Thought some of the prices were very high. Thanks for the video
I also subscribe to CLL channel. I love mid century but I have a sweet spot for primitives . My kitchen and upstairs hall and landing are prims but my living room is mid century.I sell both styles at my shows.
May I call you Gabby? Well, anyway, I can't wait to see your home video!! The crewel curtains, I'm sure, will be awesome! Thanks for taking us along with you! It was fun!
Have you ever been to the antique show in Liberty, North Carolina? It will be coming up on September 29th and 30th. Your show and ours look very similar. My Aunt Joyce will have dried yarrow and lots of prims. I would have loved to have gotten my hands on that beautiful bitter sweet. I will have to get up there again soon and y’all come down and see us. Happy Fall! Thanks for letting us tag along❤️
Do you do your shopping prior to filming? There is no way I would be able to film at a place like that because I would want to shop and buy and look at every last thing!
I film in-between when I'm at a big place like Springfield Extravaganza. When I'm at an estate sale I buy first. Get everything loaded and then film. Need both hands free to hold my new found treasures!

Would be hard not to find at least a little something at a place like Springfield extravaganza!

Countless hours searching!
I wish you would show some of the prices they are asking. Since we are not there it would be helpful.

It would be great if you would mention prices
I would need 10,000 to get everything I wanted 😁

Do you know the name of the vendor that had the pie safe and how much was it?
I'm sorry I don't, but maybe a viewer knows and will comment here!
You're welcome to share the video on other sites and ask if anyone knows. Good luck!
Really didn't show any prices and you whent to fast
I thought I said more prices out loud in this video than any others.
That look like a coffin
I know exactly what you're referring to and that crossed my mind as well!
Too fast movement of camera. Could not finish watching.
I'm a work in progress.
You move the camera too fast.. made me dizzy.
