I was born in Bryan Ohio. Moved away in the 80s. Not much left in that area but there is a really nice antique mall in Archbold. His son used to buy from New England and bring back thee most beautiful cupboards and blanket chests. He passed away last year from a heart attack..he was so nice, but so is his dad..might want to give them a visit. I believe its on 66 near Sauder Museum 😊Becca Martin
@@garymartin5898 I have been there but not in a couple years or so and I remember an older gentleman (owner)who takes care of his wife who suffers from dementia I believe. It was a nice place not too large but I always found something there! I am guessing then he lost his son? How sad!
@@prettylady995 yes John passed away last year. Came back from a buying trip and dropped from a heart attack..His Dad is the owner , Larry Grieser. Last I knew his wife was still alive..Larry is so good to her.
That's exactly what happens sometimes. If we found a 'honeyhole' every single time we went out it would be too easy. That's why our hearts make that flutter when we walk into the shops that are filled with beautifully arranged Primitives. It's why we keep hunting!
You've shown us so many gorgeous pieces today and I've really enjoyed this video. My hunt for Prim items in England is not proving successful at all, not one single item in my local Antique centre however I am learning so much from you especially how to display the things I have and although not plentiful here, I would be ready to pounce if a piece should come up. I am so grateful to have found you.🥰
I was born in Ohio. Left 50 yrs ago. You are showing me every reason to return🥰. Thank you for all this great content. Very sweet of you!
You are so welcome! It is a beautiful state, for many reasons.

I want all of the Halloween!!!! What an amazing collection!💖
I was amazed to see that many perfect JOLs looking out at me!
I want to buy every Christmas item I see. Beautiful collections. Thanks for taking us.
Oh, if we could only go back in time 30 years, knowing what we know today!
You're right! I wondered the same thing about it being just a way to display a collection. 395.00 for one jack o lantern ?!!! Oh my!
They were all in the most pristine condition too. It was an impressive sight for sure!
I have to say I didn’t see much that caught my eye…. But that’s part of the hunt, you don’t always find something. Thanks for taking us along!

Where in England are you hunting for antiques?
Looking forward to this!
Thanks for watching 👀🙂!!
Is this Heart of Ohio Antique Mall? I’ve been there often, and always enjoy it! Thank you for the wonderful video. 😄
It wasn't. This was the mall at the same exit as the fairgrounds. Ill look for the exact name and put it in the description.
WOW WEE!!!!!
Amazing isn't it!!??
@@Thecapeonthecorner that’s putting it mild! Very nice!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful items 😊. Did I see some cross stitch pictures?
Is that what you collect?
New to your channel and I just love it! I’m in Texas, but your channel makes me want to take a trip to Ohio sooooo bad! 😁
Please do! Lol, and I want to visit your Roundtop!
@@Thecapeonthecorner Oh for sure!!! It’s massive!
I agree about antiques in cases…just not as good as things you can put your hands on.
I didn't see anything I would buy on this trip, Maybe next time !! Not comfortable with having to ask price on everything in a booth.
I'd take every piece in the cases of the Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving!
Wish I had some of the Halloween and Christmas things from when I was little !! Just so expensive now.
