Thank you so much for sharing. I can open the app but I have been having so many issues with opening up my projects and once they finally do I am struggling with shapes and text disappearing, scrolling down and up, etc. Might be worth un/re-installing.

Karley, the design space updated okay but the Cricut Maker seems to me hung up trying to update in the new Design Space. Do you have any suggestions?
I have a new to me never used but original maker. When I put Cricut on my iPad the screen was black and I couldn’t see lettering. Cricut works well on iPhone. I did delete off iPad and put back on but it did work. My iPad is the 2021 version of I pad. I would rather use my iPad thanks if you can advise me.

I probably have the opposite problem- I can’t get my laptop (windows 11) to download the v6 version. I have the Beta-v7.1.116 version. I have uninstalled & reinstalled numerous times & even had Cricut support try to help me with no resolution to my problem! 😩 how do I get the current version of the cricut design space?!
I just bought a Cricut Explore Air 2 and went to install this app on my MacBook pro (2015) model with the latest OS update....the Cricut app is v7.2.87 and it won't load up a sign in, it simply stays on the white box that says "Cricut v7.2.87" and does not continue to load up any sign in info...what can I do to fix this?
Min is doing the same thing but with the v7.6.172 version, i just did my mac update, did you find any fix to this?
We’ve tried everything and we’re still getting the white screen after clicking log in. We’ve deleted everything and redowloaded it many time and nothing is working

My settings doesn't give me the option to chose classic it say Units and the options are Imperial or Metric

Hi Karley... I bought my Cricut to help speed up the process of designing/producing my silk scarves and paintings; specifically, to create reusable custom stencils (rather than repeatedly drawing the same image every time I create a new scarf/painting).
The images I use are extremely detailed and, therefore, time consuming to “clean-up”. Thankfully I discovered svg files which have less “stuff” to clean up (whereas before I used images I downloaded from Pinterest). From my experience with Cricut so far, there doesn’t seem to be a function that allows you to return to an image to continue editing once it has been saved. Perhaps I’m doing this the wrong way but it seems like I have to do all of my editing in one go… which isn’t practical for many reasons. Am I right about this or is there a more efficient way to deal with this?
Yes- there are much more efficient ways! Invest in a design program to edit your images! My preferred choice is Adobe illustrator! But when I started and (what I recommend starting with) is silhouette studio business edition! You can edit your images, design from scratch, do everything you need, save your progress and then when you’re ready you can export to an svg and bring it into cricut. I have an entire playlist on silhouette studio with your cricut :)

Hi Karley, not sure if this is a update issue with cricut or a printer issue...when I'm doing print and cut do you know what would cause my printout to not print correctly. It's printing at the top of the card stock cutting off the image so it looks like a half cut or printing so close to the top that the black block for cricut to read for cutting is not bring recognized. I hope this makes sense; I know it's a lot☺
That is a printer issue :) you’ll want to adjust your media to accommodate for thicker materials so the roll feeders properly pull your material through!

Hi, thanks for sharing. Can you tell me if you’ve ever seen the “Size Not Supported”, change your Page Size to one that your printer supports, or select a different printer message? I never changed anything so I don’t understand this. I’ve always used my MacBook but all of a sudden I get this. Please help! 🙁
Are you intending to print then cut? Or just cut?

V Lockett cricut just added A4 paper as an option so ensure you have the correct size selected and that your images fit within the print then cut parameters

This doesn't work. I get to the screen that says SIGN IN and when I click SIGN IN it's a blank white screen. Also not sure how you have version 6.2 when today I downloaded it and it's version 6.14! Today is 10/12/21. I can't use it and I have a big order to fill. Any other ideas?

@@annatu4445 I had to update my entire operating system to get it to work. And then I got a message saying my OS isn’t supported. I’m going to switch to Silhouette. This is ridiculous.
Having such a hard time with this. I can do it on my phone but not my computer. I’m going to try right now..
Mone doesn’t look like a C mine is sitting in the applications folder and it has a hard drive icon

it's two hours i search for the download option, it was easy to find on previous versions but now you have to scoll down on the left side of the screen... it's seems stupide but i employed two hours to find it out. it has to be placed in an unusual place so peaople don't see it ... anyway good work to you all.
Everytime I download it or try open it it's just a white screen. I've deleted the data from the PC folder.
What did you do to fix this? I need to use my cricut tomorrow but right now when I tried using it a blank screen was displayed 😢
@@desireeortega372 I ended up deleting and reinstalling it. Took 3 times to finally get all my stuff back and work properly. I feel like it does it after updates.

Definitely having issues. None of my projects are loading or anything else. It’s definitely design space causing the issues. I’ve been using it for 4 yrs and this is the first time I’ve had major issues. Deleted it a few times in the last few days and it’s still problematic.
Yah the newest update is a mess! Cricut has come out and admitted it too 😬

Please watch this video to see what to do. It’ll walk you through what to do when you get the blank screen. The new cricut app doesn’t havent cricut antenna- just says cricut :)

Design space is not giving me option for explore air 2. So its asking to minimize my work area to a much smaller size resulting in smaller images
You can change it in the upper right hand corner to- explore family.
@@KarleyHall i tried that. It still asked to minimize to a 6" x 10". Which shrinks all my sticker sizes
Eddy-Ready Steady-Go the max size for print then cut is 6.75” x 10”. If you are just cutting, it’s 11.5 x 11.5 :)

It still doesn't work for me :( every time I go through these steps, it just says "You have macOS 10.13.6. The application requires macOS 10.15 or later." I have an old computer but everything is up to date, but Cricut still won't open up for me. Please help!! Anyone!!
You need to update your operating system. Is your computer too old to update?
@@KarleyHall It took me hours to figure out how to get it to the macOS 10.15. Mine is 2017, so it's not too old (maybe). But, my computer didn't have a systems settings or a proper software updates location. So, essentially, I had to do trial and error. I eventually came across the actual MacOS Catalina update, BUT, it was directly in the App Store that you would download it from. My computer is now on the 10.15. version. Thank you so much for responding!
Do you know how to get to printer dialogue settings on a Mac book ?, I’m doing sublimation and can’t get to my settings for paper and print quality etc?
Google the printer you own + driver. And install the driver onto your device :)
For example “Epson ecotank 4700 driver”

Delete everything! The biggest mistake I see if that people have so many versions in their downloads that they keep using the wrong one. Delete anything with cricut and start again at design.Cricut.com this has worked EVERY time for me because EVERY time it won’t automatically update. It’s such a pain! I’m sorry!!!!
