Trev you should watch when they announce the grid before the race so you can see the lineup and if anyone got grid penalties. This would’ve prevented your confusion during the race.

I’m no expert, but in the technical sections, dropping down to lean fuel mix will allow you to rotate through the corner and get back on the gas smoothly. Then switch up to standard or rich.

Did you watch the 70th anniversary GP? Thought the Mercs were both going to pull a Lightning McQueen this time, but eventually they made a good decision. Still think they were all over the place with their strategy. Congrats to Max for his clean and seemingly effortless driving though!
If you setup ur wheel a bit further away from you seat you will find it easier to go around the corner, your hands will be a bit more free to move around
Have you tried under fueling the car from the beginning and slowly building up your fuel reserve throughout the race? It makes you light and fast early but if you go lean through the corners you can really make up some time
I think the other teams pulled a Nico Hulkenberg, meaning their engines would not start before the race. Also, I would honestly say Trev should upload five or more videos, one for every day he left us in suspense. Or he could do upload seven if he is waiting until the F1 race weekend is over.
The reason you were moved up to 2nd is because 2 of the cars in front of you had grid penalties, so they ended up starting further back then they qualified
Trev maybe I'm the only one who has noticed but I think you need to look at your wheel settings like the degrees of rotation or something bc on the hairpin your wheel doesn't match with the in game wheel and there is a few corners where the car goes full lock and you have barely turned your wheel
New to this series, but your colour scheme is very similar to mine. Which is the colour scheme I run on most things. But one thing I want to point out is your team name. Not sure if it was mentioned before but Cooper is F1 is not new. In fact going of constuctors titles. Cooper is the joint 7th most successful team alongside Renault and Brabham (Brabham was one of the drivers for Cooper in 59) alongside Stirling Moss and Bruce McClaren.
I think I have one explanation y u were in p2 it’s because that Lewis and the others recieved grid penalties for possibly changing the components on their engines so that dropped them back

I do full qualifying and in my last race my 83 ratad Jack Aitken qualified p8 and my car is 4th in R&D. It really makes a difference.
its called a grid place penalty, maybe hamilton changed a gearbox something... and also Bottas is Bow-tas :)
do not overfuel a lighter car helps with your lap time as well

He can only change to mediums if he qualifyed p11 and down, p10 and up you have to use the tyres you qualifyed with
