Personally I like the HUD to still be visible so I can see all the menus with the speed, lap times, gaps, ERS, DRS, mini map things like that because then like I’m more engaged in the race seeing the guy closing in on you or you slowly creeping up on the guy in front or when you get DRS on a straight

I liked being able to see more of the race because like you mentioned it takes away or fades the map and position out. Thats just me though, I'm sure others like it the other way. I liked seeing some theater mode lol that was pretty cool at the end. Not a big fan of the eye tracker, maybe when it turns when your head turns but the dimming of the clusters isn't my favorite. I like to see when you turn ers on and off, and the remaining laps and who is around you. Out of all the videos tonight this was the first one I went to, love this series! Keep it up!

Head tracking in Flight sim is AMAZING, for us and for you. Makes it much more realistic. I like the disappearing things, but head tracking in 1st person is so cool

So far I was subscribed because of SCS and this is the first gaming series that I'm watching. I love it! I even got interested in the real F1. Side note: this was the only episode in which I couldn't watch the whole race because of the distracting pop-up. It's nice you try out new things some will be good, some - not. Great work anyways.

Nice race bro! I thought the eye tracking was pretty cool. I would personally like having the HUD info only pop up when you look at its area that is definitely cool. I do agree though that for the purposes of you making videos that’s not as good. Absolutely a cool little piece of tech though.

The eye tracker bubble was cool, but it was honestly distracting. The hud fading in and out like that was also cool, but I prefer it be the default view that we've always had up until this point. That's my personal opinion though. Other people may think differently
Agree with your thoughts on the eye tracker. I missed being able to see the dimmed items but it did make me focus more on the track and the race. I can see it being great for you but less great for us. On the engine thing, I wonder if the other cars are acting as though they are racing the full schedule or the AI doesn't know that it isn't a full schedule and aren't replacing their worn components. Maybe next season do the full schedule but sim the race you don't want to broadcast and just race the track you want to. That also make decision about dropping a track you want to race because you can only select 10. If you race a full schedule and Sim some you aren't bound by the games number. just a thought. Thanks.

Hey trev , just trying to give you some advice ! You should try to lower your chair 🪑. Not only does it improve your driving but it will make the game more realistic cuz in real f 1 cars the steering wheel is a bit lower than head level . You can try to lower it and practice a bit but if you feel more comfortable with the wheel at your chest that fine ! 😁
hey trev in the bay area california the smoke levels are the worst in the country. it's getting hard to breath. thanks for taking my mind off of it. from a viewing perspective i like the way the hud was before.

You have to do a “Eye Tracking” challenge video now! If you don’t know what it is, just search it up on TH-cam. Do it with Chelsea too, it would be hilarious to see her reactions! You can also swap the roles around. Like so Trev can see!
Eye tracking is cool, not a fan of the hud being faded out though. I like being able to watch the standings in the top left and seeing how much you are gaining/losing on people etc.
hey wanna keep on eye tracking on..so when u u try to look at the edge of screen..it slightly adjust ur fov..dont need full head and eye..that is for cockpit view..think just the eye tracking would be fine for minor turns
I really want to see you do a race in cockpit view with the settings turned on to move your head and eyes. That would be so realistic and fun at least for one race.
I’d love to use this, I always drive in the actual cockpit view (I raised the camera a tad) and having the camera turn with my eyes (like for checking the mirrors) would be sick!

Hey trev, when watching your eyes compared to how F1 drivers look on track they look at the apex wayyyy earlier than you (well like 1-2 seconds) but maybe that’ll be a good tip

Keep in mind trev that bc you switched out your engine parts before everyone else when they do you will be more worn than them so ude say enjoy your success while it lasts
Reason Bottas Ai braked at the beginning like that is because I turn 1 at Silverstone you get lots of understeer and he would have drifted wide right into you
You should start the race with medium tyres and change to soft tyres on the pit stop. Softer tyres makes you faster and can make you win the race if the AI are on medium tyres. Check out E-sport pro race 2019 Jan Opmeer when he won started on medium then overtake everyone on soft compound.
I prefer being able to see the times and also the placement on top left and right and I makes it very hard to see that with the eye tracker “blurring,” on.
Don't mind the eye tracking stuff, as even when it's faded out you can still read all the HUDs and see positions. All the comments crying about it maybe need to man up a lil looool .

I think u should keep the hud visible and not disappearing.
Based off your eye tracking lap while you are looking ahead, you are super late looking into the apex which puts you on the back foot on the exit

Yeah he looks way to late. He looks at just in front of his front wing whereas f1 drivers look almost over a corner ahead
