11:45 cracks me up. The confidence in sliding the extension but it's actually behind it lol

nice video but man after doing all that labor there's no way I'd be slapping in a used unknown bearing that may not last 1k miles.

My rear axle nut was loose loose, just like yours🤔 just replaced the hub assembly with bearings yesterday. I hear these rear axle nuts get loose on the Gs or something. Saw it in forums.

    Tanabi coil overs?

Godspeed rear camber arms and maybe good speed or tein coils can’t really tell

      I think you are correct.
Currently on SPC camber arms and BC true coilovers. In all honesty, I don't feel much of a difference from the two setups.
      Thanks for the comment!

It very well could be a 32. It would not surprise me if my nuts were bigger than normal.

I was thinking same! I think it can be done without. Removing axle

As soon as I saw that split pin my heart dropped from bad memories. Fuck I hate split pins on my G35. If anyone has issues with this, stuff a small housenail through the hoop and bend it on both ends and clamp it in vice grips to tug it out.

Could easily hold the hub place by sticking a screw driver in the vents hold it against caliper or applying the e brake

Back 4 nuts on the bearing are extremely tight , any tips on how to remove them ? I tried hitting it with a hammer but they don’t budge

Penetrating fluid, heat and leverage. Dealing with tight nuts and bolts could be a pain in the @ss. Hopefully you were able to find a combination of things to break them loose.

Put a jack pipe on the end of your socket. Perfect breaker bR

    You own a z or g35 and can't afford a 32 mm socket, don't own one.

Looks like lowering springs not coilovers bur good video

    • @salvageperformance5170

      Hey Thanks!
The rear on the 350z and g35 use a separate spring from shock suspension. True coilovers will have both as one unit which more and more companies are making for this car. At the time Tanabe made this coil over kit, it was common for the rear to be a 2 piece spring and shock.

How hard was it to take out the caliper(19m lugs) im having a hard time

Being from out here in California, I didn't have to deal with the corrosion that other places have to deal with so it was pretty easy to remove.
pb blaster and a torch may make it easier to remove if yours are corroded.
But if you are asking about ease of access, the top bolt is a straight shot to get to.
The bottom bolt is easier to get to if you jack up the lower control arm. It moves the arms in a way that allows you to fit your wrench in there easier.
and as always, the longer you can make your handle, the more torque you can easily make to break the bolts loose.
