I was scammed $500 by Kenzzi! To you, that might just be a penny. But to me and to previous customers they scammed, every cent counts! I don’t even have their products and they still refuse to refund my money with their shady excuses! How can I pay my bills?!

You can also use your potato peeler on butter you forgot to leave out the fridge.
Thin slices make it easy to spread.

Great tip for onion…cut more than you need and freeze so it’s ready next time, without more tears. Thanks for the tips Brittany. I’ve been preaching the plastic thing for years and still shocked at how many people don’t know.

Another tip with onion, to remove onion smell from your hands after handling is rub your hands over your taps/faucet , or anything metal, it removes the odour straight away

All good info/tips! But not every dishwasher has a top rack that can move up & down. I just checked ours and it does not have any mechanism that would allow it to move vertically. Other than that, I love your tips - you keep things short & concise and, most importantly, you don't waste our time! Thank you!!
Oh, I'll be trying out that Coco Floss, too!

    • @japspeedgirl6216
      @japspeedgirl6216 ปีที่แล้ว

Every dishwasher has this feature, even the cheapest one has double wheels, so you can use either top wheels to have it lower or bottom to bring it higher. The runners have tiny swivelling blockades that you need to move outside to be able to pull the basket out.

I use the peeler to slice ginger! Didn't know about the 8 indicating GMOs!
I did the thing where you soak clothes in baking soda and detergent to get out excess residue from prior washes, helped with odors too, after that I didn't need to do extra rinses. My thought is that if you need to do an extra rinse, you're using too much detergent/fabric softener, and it may have built up in your machine (which also needs to be cleaned regularly).

    Hi Brittany!
I learned about the knife grip from a Healthy Kitchen Cooking class for Military Veteran Women. I learned about the plastic in the microwave and I use mine for the timer only-- because it also causes microwaved protein (eggs, butter) to make you sick to your stomach! There's two kinds of peeler! One with the ridges is for fruit and soft flesh fruits, like zucchini. And the straight edges peelers re for tougher peels like potatoes! Just be careful going forward and backwards with the sharp edges!
I learned that using white vinegar gets out the extra soapiness and stinky smells in the 1st rinse cycle-- as we have an on-site laundry facility, so a 2nd rinse isn't cost/time effective for me.
And using vinegar makes the towels softer and more absorbent-- no need for dryer sheets!

Did you know if you’re using your box grater to grate something if you lay down on the counter instead of standing up, it’s a lot easier on your wrist and hand goes faster and everything falls into the greater oh, and if you put some wax paper down it definitely doesn’t go all over the counter and it’s easy to pick any that comes out of the side. I was in my 70s before I learned that.

I always thought for the one model veggie peeler was like that so it didn't matter if you were right or left handed. And I don't know if some of these things are wrong if what you're doing is working just as well for you. As far as shredding, I like to use a (box) grater for the carrots and onions etc, holding it at an angle.

Also, I wanted to mentioned that, on the straight potato peeler (that is what I use), the tip is to remove the little indents, instead of keep on peeling part of the pulp until you remove everything and get a clean potato. I Peek the potato then remove the dark spots with the tip (straight potato peeler). Also, I use the potato peeler to remove the sling of all my vegetables, specially those that have hard skins, like pumpkins and pumpkin families (butternut squash, etc.) and it makes a huge difference. Thanks for all your tips , they are of a great value.

Steam the butternut squash before peeling. If it’s too big cut it in half before steaming. I learned this after working my fingers “to the bone” trying to peel a butternut squash. Peels like butter with a paring knife after steaming!

Therefore, people would have to purchase them more often which in turn makes Apple money! Interesting theory!

I always click the thumbs up before I watch your video because I know I ALWAYS learn things from your videos. Thank you because not having a mom to ask these questions that us as woman should know sucks. I saw the washer tip on your stories and have been doing it ever since. It has changed my life lol. @brittnie.parker ❤

My potato peeler also works on apples, peaches, squash and cucumbers, Helps with symptoms that occur in your stomach because of vegetable/fruit skins.

The only surprise for me was the potato peeler! I have a 5lb bucket of potatoes I need to process from our garden. This couldn't have come at a better time, I thank you!

You look especially beautiful in this video. No sure if it is the lighting or the color of your top, but WOW gorgeous.
