Deci shot and AV nade combo will kill a MAX, the AV nade will stick to the MAX

Hip aim is worse than the S1, etc. Off by 10%. Masamune 1shots ESF if the spread is tight enough at second fastest rocket velocity of launchers. First being lancer. Go to VR and stand still and before ADS, look at the BOTTOM vertical line that's part of your cone of fire bloom marker. That will be your center when you guess your drop of the launcher you're using. If the entire model of the enemy soldier fits behind that bottom marker, thats ZEROED and then quick-ADS then fire. Great for still-standing infantry. Aiming up or down makes the drop narrow up to about 30% so that's what throws you off when aiming at ESF's. A tip when quick-ADS up at air is to aim where they will fly away and a slow object like a 60ms rocket will have a higher chance of hitting them when they're nearly matching its angle. ESF players like to roll so it's a toss up left or right roll when you fire.

Personally I think the Decimator is a fair bit overrated by the community, it hits hard but the reload is abysmal, velocity is not that great and its obviously nearly pointless to use against a moving target at range unless its very predictable.
Decimator does 975 direct and 350 explosive AoE damage for a total of 1325 damage against infantry with a 5.7 second reload time.
Masamune does 225 direct and 125 explosive AoE damage but can fire 4 rockets at the same time with hipfire for a total of 900 direct damage and 500 explosive AoE damage = 1400 damage against infantry. It also has a 4 second reload making it 1.7 seconds faster to reload than the Decimator.
Then you also have the added benefit of 'wire' guided missiles when aimed for hitting targets at longer range and/or moving targets + it has double the projectile velocity over the Deci.
Deci has a advantage at mid range infantry/MAX targets though since you can quickly aim and send a fairly precise rocket at them while Masa would spray the area with hipfire or be stuck aiming shooting the rockets one at a time but I still prefer having the Masa as my standard launcher for its higher DPS, especially against vehicles.

Masamune can be moderately unreliable though, and takes longer to put that damage out while aiming down sights.
Once you get the Deci down it's not that hard to lead, and you get the added advantage of clapping ESF from time to time, which is significantly harder to do in the Masamune.

They need to buff the old starter launchers

i think they oneshot now and have better reload than deci so they're okay but no real reason to use them

@@yanlexi I'd like to see the old starter launchers able to 1shot flashes and esfs (without composite) And deal bonus damage to harassers, basically making them anti light vehicle
