Hey @frap55 Probably the best thing would be to get in touch with Sam with any questions you have. You can dm the team on facebook.com/ministryshirtsaustralia/
Awesome video, almost 4 years of not truly liking my volt micro reg system and I think you nailed it in 1 video. I use both 20 x 24 & 23 x 31 inch screens on my volt as I run a lot of youth items and because I can with the side arms. I always find my micros moving left or right in an awkward line when I turn the micro knobs, and that’s because I always realized that my side frame holders are not squared to the pallets, and I once tried measuring out and marking the bars that the arms slide on, but that didn’t help because I didn’t have an actual frame in the arm to find the perfect and parallel centers. If that sounds confusing well that’s probably why it didn’t work. Using a template “lines” screen for both sizes is going to make a huge difference when I’m going back and forth between screen sizes. Also I found myself never putting the screen in the micro side arm completely until it couldn’t go anymore then locking down the screen and that is because I never had my side holder parallel to a true center point. I think this video is going to make a huge impact in my shop and I can already see in my head a lot fewer micro reg headaches. Thanks
Thanks for the video! This has helped us a lot! Though We’ve are pressed for a couple months now but are still struggling with registration. Every time we lock the left clamp everything bumps out of reg. Any suggestions as to what you guys do to combate that ? Thanks!!
I was just curious why you did not go with the phneumatic lock where you just the flip the switch? Screen moves less when the both of the clamp holders are tightened at once instead of locking one side at a time doesn't it? When I try to move the screens with the micro, it takes really long time, especially with the back clamp manual. I am thinking of getting the side clamp for my antec legend and in the future i might get thunder press with the side clamp with the pneumatic option or just the side clamp
Thanks for your comments and questions. The Anatol Volt does not have pneumatic screen clamps. This video is not about the problem of screens moving when the clamps are fastened. Side clamps will work really well. Keep on printing!
@@ministryofshirts on most manuals press they have it. not the screen clamp holder, the locking knobs to move the 3 point registration plates. on older volt i can see the locking knobs
ah right I understand you now. Yes they no longer use the locking knobs this is correct. The micro adjustments tends to be tight enough when the arms are clamped down. I believe the issue you that you are having is not related to not having the locking knobs on the rego as the screens are moving slightly when you lock in the screen clamps. You should look at the screen clamp mounts and check you have them tightened up, check that the holders are 100% level, and that the clamps themselves are not adjusted too tightly only the screen. You want them to be able to hold the screen well but not to put pressure on the screen such that it moves.@@wagyu_killer
Sir.Thank you so much for your video. I like this channel. I am a bangladeshi. I know screen printing design, colour mixing, design expose and i am screen printer. I need a job. Pls massage send me.
Fantastic video. Nobody showed this and as I am considering a volt it was incredibly informative. Thank you.
You are so welcome. Glad it was helpful.
Any tips or things to consider now that you have had the volt for sometime? I am considering the purchase of a 6/8. Thank you.@@ministryofshirts
