I watched this the day it came out almost a year ago and was hoping and praying I was able to do this. A year later I'm watching this and packing up my life for college. And i have a triple as well so this is perf!!

I think it's really cool how you make the most out of the space you have, I loved that you brought your dream catcher from your tutoring, so sweet, but what I liked the most is that the dorm seems civilized and organized and still fun... so far the best dorm room video I have seen. :)
dorms in america are so different to the ones in UK...in UK everyone has a single room and you only share the kitchen and bathroom (unless you have an onsuite) with your flatmates. your room looks lovely tho amy, nice and cosy xx

I live in America. At the school I'm currently going to, freshmen had to live in residential halls (if they were dorming on campus). Basically it was two people per room and 2 bathrooms per floor. So like 20-25 shared two bathrooms, each one with 2 toilets and 2 showers. After that, you can live in dorm apartments. It costs more. I'm living in my own room with 3 other roommates and 2 full bathrooms. You could also choose to share a room, share the apartment with 6 people, and have two full baths
Once your time in college becomes more seasoned, you should make a vlog about the experience and initial impressions etc.!

I like this video because other dorm vids feature luxury dorms with big spaces and not the standard lame furniture and close spaces of real actual dorms.

At my uni the only options for dorms (or 'halls' as we call them) was either one person to a room with double bed and ensuite bathroom, OR two people to a room with a bunkbed and ensuite. I guess we were lucky! haha.

i got a uni room bigger than that on my own in a flat with 6 people 3 shower rooms and 3 toilets.... think that i lucked out quite well haha :D was great halls as well very sociable :) moving into a house share this year off campus and excited again :)

In my uni, I'm sharing with one person but there's a COMMUNITY restroom. There's two on each floors so it's like 30 people share the community restroom.
This video was cute, I enjoyed watching it. I have no clue how people do dorms though. I live 10-45 minutes away from my uni depending on which campus I go to class in. I couldn't image living in a room like that. I commend you, to me it just sounds like educational prison for a 3-4 year sentence lol

If you are going to school on scholarships/financial aid, and can't afford out-of-pocket housing, you do what you gotta do. I lived on-campus all four years. A lot of schools require that you live on campus during your freshman year, at least, as well.
