Having dropped off the Bandit, my next steed from Suzuki is going to rpovide an excellent contrast and compare as they have sorted me out with the brand new, re-styled Gladius 650, which with its V twin engine, is a genuinely completely different ride from the Bandit! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Finally a man that can speak the Queen's English, and properly. The Gladius does strongly resemble a Ducati, hopefully more reliable than such.
Very nice vid! Rode this today for the first time in my driving lessons, awesome bike.
You'd love it! It has a surprising low seating position. It feels a lot more comfortable, and somehow makes it much easier to ride than most other "sport" bikes

@motorcycleluke hey thanks man, I have been avoiding redline now and I think it feels much better. The bike just likes to kick itself into the red so fast I thought it liked it!

- fuel/range display
Riders under 180cm, should be happy....
@chaseybears Hey bro!! Its very different, more torque and feels more nimble, Ive got a few days left on it this week - so will post more when Ive ridden it!
Which would you recommend the GSR 600, 600 Bandit or this? Or any other 600ish starter bike.

I'm a beginner and looking for a bike.
First I looked at the er6n but it appears to be too small for me.
I'm about 6 feet tall, would this bike be too small for me?
Good review, Gladius is one of the bikes I'm considering for myself. Now, I'm 5'5 tall so most sport/street bikes are too tall for me, what kind of bikes could I also possibly look for(except cruisers)? So far I've found this and Yamaha xj6, which I passed my test on, but there ought to be more lowish-seat nakeds out there.
The red framed gladius looks great! I have the black one.
You say it red lines at 10k. Should I not rev my gladius into the 11-12K rpm mark into the red?
Im still torn between this the 2008 honda cb600f hornet and the kawasaki z750, all bikes have similar specs, around the same price and similar insurace bands...which would you say has smoothest power? so it pulls from lower down in the revs so you dont have to rev the nuts off it to get anywhere...just looking as im moving up from my 2009 kawasaki ninja 250r and found that i really had to rev that high

hahaha.. im not new to liter bikes!! i still got yamaha r1 with me.. im still trying to get use to the handling on the 1198.. but my friend is thinking of getting the gladius.. thou i might just have the chance to ride a gladius soon. :)
what's faster 0-60 a sfv or sv? I'm torn between the two!! i have a lot of riding experience but not on the road so im looking for a fast 1st bike but on that is small as i am only 5'5

how does it compare to the SV650?
Im 5 foot nothing (female) will this lower enough for me? 27inch inside leg. ive been told this one is nice and light as well. Im really struggling getting a bike that my feet arent dangling on lol.
So if you have to pick one bike for communting work and fun time in weekends, whick do you pick?

between the Bandit and the Gladius, which would you recommend based on confort, power, smoothness, fuel consumpion and overall looks and feel?

@ethicz The Gladius is a twin, so it naturally has a lot more low down grunt, but even though this is a great ride, Id say the Kwakker and the Hornet have a much more powerful sporty feel to them!
Ive just ridden the Z750R, it was lush, you do have to get the revs up to make it scream ad go like mad, but still nice and smooth low down!
Im just about to review the CBR600F, and I'll post the vid in a week or so bro, maybe that might be your thing?

For a start the power band drops off quite abit before you red line (say 10k) , and the reason the red sections are there, is if you go into to much you buger the engine man!!

Me gustaría que esta motocicleta la sacaran de nuevo es muy versátil muy cómoda la verdad no sé porque no la volvieron a sacar porque si uno la compara con otras que han sacado nuevas en presencia es más bonita lógicamente hay que hacerle algunas modificaciones más comodidad en el sillín frenos a BS que el pasajero viaje más cómodo Bueno qué sé yo lo que más quisiera es que la volvieran a sacar de nuevo porque para mí que soy amante a las dos ruedas es la mejor moto que he podido montar
@ikkeennigij121 Yeah mate, pretty much buddy! Its only sports bikes that really mean you get cramped! im 190 cm! You would be fine, an upright bike is what you need!

@menormice2 Never ridden one restricted, but should be cool mate, keep all the torque, just lose the top end power!
Don't lower any bike ever, it ruins the carefully worked out geometry of any bike. In time you will gain confidence to cope with reaching the ground at a stop.
I like the 2003-2009 sv650 looks a lot more. This looks way too lumpy to me.

This bike has three levels set by suzuki. It comes set at highest level. Suzuki lowered it for me to the lowest level. It's not a confidence issue I passed my test in the late 80's It's a safety issue. I bought it a year ago now. I'm five foot and 7 and a half stone it makes buying a big bike difficult. Not to worry though the geometry of this bike is set for three levels :o)

is this some kawasaki ER6-n, ducati monster and yamaha FZ6-n mutant hybrid?
btw too much copypaste from suzuki, the new bikes look like kawasaki, the older gsr 600 models looked like yamaha, this one is rather an ER6-n, suzuki, be more original, unless other manufacturers stole the ideas from your prototype...

IT IS NOT worth the price. the bike slows down in heat. quite a bad technology.i bought one and got rid of in 3 months. go for Kawasaki KLR 650
